Benjamin was a great host. We gained alot of insight on paella history and the types of paella. We had lovely appetizers and a dessert. It was a really hot day but Benjamin kept the sangria and ice water flowing. Everyone had the opportunity to participate as much or as little as they wanted to. We had a great time. I would definitely recommend this experience!! Thank you Benjamin!!!
Ben was a very welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive host. All guests have the opportunity to be as hands-on or -off as they please, so there’s no pressure when it comes to participating in the class, either way. My partner and I highly recommend!!
Benjamin was amazing! This experience was the highlight of our trip. We got to make sangria from scratch, an app and seafood paella. It felt like such an authentic experience and truly something I’d recommend to anyone!
Great time was had by all! Learned how to make paella while enjoying sangria on a breezy rooftop setting. Paella was delicious! Recommend!
If you're even thinking about taking this paella cooking class in Spain, stop thinking and book it immediately! My mom and I took the class together, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Benjamin was hands down the best host we could have asked for. He was friendly, hilarious, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the moment we arrived, he had us laughing nonstop. I honestly can't remember the last time I laughed that much while also learning something new. Not only did we learn how to make an amazing authentic paella, but Benjamin was so patient and helpful throughout the entire process. And let's talk about the sangria, top tier and so fresh! Between the delicious food, great drinks, and Benjamin's endless humor, the whole experience felt more like cooking with friends, in your neighbors backyard. My mom and I couldn't recommend this experience more. Great food, great company, lots of laughs, and memories we'll be talking about for years. Thanks, Benjamin, for making our trip so special (easiest review I’ve ever done).
Hosts were so friendly and the overall experience was great! Everyone was so kind and I would definitely recommend!
Our chef, Christian, was patient and knowledgeable about the countries cuisine. We loved being outside and having this experience on our trip to Barcelona. We loved meeting new people and dining with them. Just a heads up for anybody that might not be able to climb steps. There are several flights of stairs to go up to the rooftop. My friends and I all enjoyed this immensely and we highly recommend this excursion.
Christian was so great! The rooftop was so cozy, we had such a nice time participating in the cooking and chatting with the other people there. Christian let us be as hands on/off as we wanted and added some great context of the history of paella. He added in some easy tips and tricks for us if we wanted to make it again ourselves. The sangria was also great! Would definitely recommend!
He’s very accommodating with your time, very hospitable and the paella as well as his sangria were one of the best tasting we’ve had while in Spain!
Benjamin The host was extremely friendly and funny. We were really able to get involved in making a traditional Paella. We were also able to try different stages of the Paella like the sauce and some of the rice. The final product itself was amazing. I would really recommend people to try this for themselves.
