We did the 2-hour tuk-tuk tour in Barcelona. It was an okay experience, but I wouldn’t really recommend it if you are staying in Barcelona for a few days. The tour takes you past many of the main attractions, but you will likely end up visiting the same places again later to properly explore them. The tuk-tuk also isn’t the most comfortable or practical option for sightseeing. It could be a good choice if you only have one day in Barcelona and want to quickly see the major sights, but for a longer stay, I would prefer exploring the city on your own.
Carlos was such a good guide! He was very knowledgeable and kept us informed and entertained. We really enjoyed our tour with him. Thank you!
This tour was very accommodating to my two elderly parents who have mobility issues. They met us at a location we could easily get them to with three tuk tuks for our large family trip with nine people. The tuk tuks stayed together and we saw so much of Barcelona in 3 hours- it was so worth it to get a great overview of this large and beautiful city. They also took the time to stop and get great family photos for us. Some of the drivers were more knowledgeable than others but overall a great afternoon!
Very good tour with Tom 👌 Thank you very much
Premier Tuk-tuk experience in Barcelona. Knowledgeable friendly guides, safe driving and ability to see much of the city without wearing out your legs and shoes. Personalized drop off at hotel a particular bonus. Would do again in a heartbeat.
Our guide was a very nice and accommodating. He took us to locations that we probably wouldn’t found by ourselves. He had a wealth of knowledge and shared the information with us . His driving was nerve wracking, he weaved in and out of traffic and was going too fast for me (especially on an open type transportation that if we had wrecked, we probably didn’t have a chance). This may be a norm in Barcelona but there were times it was not enjoyable and relaxing . Would we do it again ? Probably not . Would I recommend it to friends? If you are a thrill seeker but not for regular americans who are not use to the driving norm in Barcelona.
What a fabulous way to see the city and surrounds! Victor our guide was exceptional! He was so informative and knew the city and history! Excellent tour!👍👍
This tour provides a scenic overview of the city. It's perfect if you have mobility issues or are traveling with young children who tire easily. My tour guide, Victor, was fantastic. He is a former history teacher and Barcelona native. His love and enthusiasm of the city was evident. He gave detailed information and facts on each site who visited. He answered my questions enthusiastically. He was funny, very gracious and kind. My taxi driver dropped me off at the wrong meeting location by accident. My scheduled tour was for 6:00 pm. I called Viator and they connected me with the local tour operator who apologized and sent a tuk tuk to pick me up. I was very appreciative as I had that evening to do a tour as I was boarding a transatlantic cruise the next morning. Victor was my driver. He was wonderful from the start. I was feeling a bit flustered as I had my three year old daughter with me. Victor put me at ease immediately. We had the whole tuk tuk to ourselves. This was ideal as my daughter was tired from the long overnight flight. My daughter went to sleep 20 mins into the tour. I was able to sit back, relax and fully enjoy the tour. The 6 pm tour is the last one for the day. I highly recommend booking that time as the weather was perfect. The sun was setting and the humidity was low. Seeing the city during sun set is beautiful. Victor showed me most of the Barcelona neighborhoods and historic sites in the 2 hours I had booked. The only area I missed was the beach area. You need to reserve the 3 hour tour in order to visit that area. I highly recommend Victor. He was excellent. He dropped me close to my hotel and gave me directions on how to walk there. My hotel was Kimpton Vividora. There are inside the old city area which doesn't allow taxis or private touring vehicles to access the streets nearby. My cell phone Internet wasn't working properly. Victor mapped out the walk to my hotel and I took a photo of the path. He provided detailed instructions with the street names. I was able to walk to my hotel quickly. I didn't get loss and enjoyed the walk tremendously. That's a example of Victor's professionalism. He was not obligated to do that but he did. He modified my tour to drop me off as close to my hotel as possible. Thank you, Victor!!! My daughter and I appreciate you. I had a fun, relaxing introduction to the city of Barcelona. I was amazed how beautiful and diverse it is. I will book this tour again. 10 out of 10. Ask for Victor.
We enjoyed our tour guide. She knows the city well and this TukTuk tour gave my husband an overall view of the city
