Itinerary
In this tour, your guide will take you to Ciutat Vella, the ancient part of the city. Here is where the history of Barcelona began. Get prepared to be enchanted by the antique atmosphere from this amazing part of the city and get the feeling of beeing brought back to the Middle Ages.
Discover the Gothic Cathedral of Barcelona
Plaça del Rei in Barcelona is doubtless the Gothic nook that best illustrates the medieval spirit of the city. The Royal Palace and its surrounding buildings enclose a harmonious and quiet place where it seems that the glorious past of Barcelona of the Middle Ages still breathes.
This square, also located in the Gothic Quarter is one of the main, oldest and most representative squares. Even today, after 20 centuries it remains the political power of the Catalan culture.
Fournished with a fountain, elegant lampposts and big palm trees, the Plaza Real is a very sparkling and graceful square of the Gothic Quarter. The square genders a warm atmosphere, due to the yellow walls of the buildings that surround the square.
Walking along the famous Ramblas towards the port, discover why Barcelona is so beloved by visitors. A fizzy pedestrian street where you'll enjoy the street performers, small cafes, traditional Catalan cuisine shops until you see the famous Boqueria market, where you can feel the gastronomic traditions of the Catalan people through his colorful and exuberant posts, or learn where the worldwide famous Iberian cured ham comes from.

The tour guide struggled to explain things in detail and could not answer questions in English. There was a lot of walking and standing and waiting and the harbor experience was just a boat taxi from one side to the other. We were very disappointed. Going back we ended up in an Uber because the taxi wait was going to be thirty minutes.
Tour guide Stephanie was extraordinary. Entertaining, helpful and so knowledgeable. She was the best guide of the 7+ tours we took on this trip. If you have the opportunity to get Stephanie as your guide, GRAB IT! She’s AMAZING!
I had a great time with Montse in In Out Barcelona! We loved her, and she know so much.
Honestly, I cannot find the words to describe how good and beautiful this tour was. Without a doubt, guide Stephanie is the reason I am giving the highest rating. His knowledge of architecture and history is impressive, and the way he narrates it makes it very easy to understand. Additionally, he had an excellent disposition to answer questions, give recommendations, and provide advice to enjoy Barcelona to the fullest. Thank you very much!
Amazing experience with tour guide stephanie. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that wants to do a tour with in and out tours.
Stephanie, a sweetheart, demonstrated remarkable patience from the outset, patiently explaining everything about the gothic town. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.
We had a wonderful guide, Stephanie, who showed us the highlights of The Old Town and Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. Art, history and architecture...Stephanie was an expert. We gained so much knowledge about the Catalan people and all they have been through. The buildings were beautiful and without a guide, we would have struggled to make sense of it all.
Stephanie was an incredible tour guide! Such a depth of knowledge about Barcelona's history and architecture. I had spent the day before walking around the Gothic Quarter, but on the tour I found being absorbed in elements of the city which I completely missed the first time. We did the boat tour as well, and Stephanie was very helpful in suggesting options for what we could explore from there.
This tour was packed with information and sights! As someone who loves history, I appreciated the depth of knowledge and opportunity to learn so much about this amazing city. Stephanie was fantastic guide and spent a ton of extra time with us, ensuring we had a great experience. Highly recommend!
The tour itself was great. We learned a LOT about history and architecture that we would not have known otherwise. Having Stephanie as our tour guide made for an amazing experience! Her knowledge and personality made what could have otherwise been a boring, monotonous tour one that we will not soon forget. If you're on the fence, get off and book. We booked the tour than included the boat ride. You'll love it!
