We scheduled a tour," Barcelona Highlights Private Guided Tour" with an English-speaking guide to include Parc Motjuic. Casa Botlló, Casa Mila-La Pedraza, Passeig de Gracia and La Sageada Familia. We paid extra for a 90 minute private guided tour of the basilica. What we got was a non English speaking driver, who did a great job with the traffic who pointed to Casa Botlló and Casa Mila and say "Gaudí". We heard 2 days before our arrival that La Sagrada Familia was closed because the Pope was coming. My Viator contact who had not contacted me said when asked they only learned about it 2 days before. The Pope's visit was announced 3 months ago and his itinerary and closings were finalized May 6. We also met tourist who had had private tours of the basilica that same day. As a substitute we asked about a private tour of Park Güell. We were dropped off at the entrance and told in Spanish and sign language the guide was inside. Once in, the guide was a QR coded guide that yielded only a white screen on my phone. Our experience could have been done for a €50 taxi ride. Sadly, we are not likely to return to Barcelona again.
As I informed you, we had your tickets reserved for the guided tour of the Sagrada Familia, but the provider notified us two days prior that they had to cancel all tours due to security measures related to the Pope's arrival. As we informed you, we made a change to Park Güell, which was not a guided tour, as we already mentioned. Unfortunately, the Pope's visit meant we had to take measures to adapt to the schedule and offer our service as best as possible within our means. In any case, we regret that your experience was not what you expected.
A fantastic day in Barcelona! We had a short time to visit the city as we finished our cruise in Barcelona and our flight was in the afternoon. Isaac, our guide, picked us up at the port on time. We visited the most famous places in Barcelona and finished at the airport on time after enjoying this beautiful city.
Girona is beautiful. We booked a tour to Girona because some friends had been to Barcelona a few years ago and recommended we visit this medieval city. We thoroughly enjoyed its history, its stone streets, and its ancient cathedral. We had a great time, and the tour was excellent.
We did a private tour of Barcelona. Our driver/tour guide was Juan. He was on time and very knowledgeable and friendly. We only had about 3 hours before going to our cruise ship. He took us as close as he could to the church and we got out for a photo. Also both sides of the mountainside to see the city view. He was great and we felt safe with Juan. We highly recommend Juan and Viator is lucky to have him.
First time in Barcelona, best experience ever so happy with Barcelona exclusive private tours, I booked a half day tours after docking in Barcelona Cruise terminal and the driver was very knowledgeable and we were really impressed
Fabulous tour in Barcelona, really impressed with the highlight tour booked, I could not recommend more this tour and company.
It’s completely insulting that you sent me this several times to review you when you canceled on us five minutes before you were to pick us up for a private tour we booked months in advance on our only day in Spain. What a big disappointment you have lost us forever as customers we’ve used you in several different countries.
I booked a one day trip while I was in Barcelona with my daughter and my 80 year old parents had a cruise ship stop for that day. The evening before the trip the tour was cancelled and a refund was promised within 14 days. I still don‘t have my money back and don‘t get any replies from the company… If you book, don't pay in advance.
They no showed, and made my 84 year old father and 81 year old mother (both in wheelchairs) sit for 2.5 hours, no apologies, nothing! We were in Spain for 1 day and it got ruined because of these inconsiderate people that run a service where paying customers depend on their ability to be accurate and truthful. Such a horrible experience.
Driver told us nothing about the areas we drove thru and the sights that we visited. Showed up at the wrong cruise ship terminal and tried to drop us off at the wrong terminal. He was of no help at all.
