Interesting museum with lots of Egyptian artifacts. Note that the museum closes from 2 to 4, but you can reenter after siesta.
I made this reservation the same day by mistake and right away tried to cancel but the operator was told that I was in Madrid and not Barcelona and still couldn’t help me. Tried to get my money back but was unsuccessful.
Dear costumer. We are sorry to hear about your negative experience. We believe it's a Tripadvisor policy not to refund you, as we accept last minute cancellation without any issue. Regards
Well explained and with very interesting and original pieces. Quiet and not crowded place like other attractions of the city.
It is a very interesting center from start to finish, highly recommended when visiting Barcelona, it is an option if you like visiting museums and places of general culture. I enjoyed it a lot.
It's okay but I needed a guide, it's true that everything is explained in writing, but I thought there was a guide
The museum was very interesting to visit and we learned lots of things about Egypt! I recommend this museum to anyone who would like to learn more about the subject. The only downside for us was that there were no translations of the information into French so we had to understand as we could in English. Otherwise the exhibitions are very informative and diverse (sarcophagi, statuettes, etc.) I recommend this museum!
This was a short but interesting experience. There is no "skip the line" situation here so I'm not sure why that's being advertised. You will need to email them your voucher at the front desk before you will receive tickets. The staff was very friendly and guided us through this process including logging into the wifi. Be sure to download the app for the tour before arriving to save some time. This took an hour at most, longer if you read/listened to everything but we had children so they were happy just to look at the artifacts. An enjoyable, short activity. *Please check the hours as they are on break for 2 hours in the late afternoon. We enjoyed an espresso and treats at a cafe on the corner until they reopened.
Interesting museum tour, complemented by a good audio guide. Several mummies on display, as well as, some interesting sexual artefacts.
We were not certain what to expect in this museum and it surely did not disappoint. The exhibits were fascinating and the accompanying written explanations that were written in English (all were not) well done and provided much information. If you are interested in archeology this is a must see.
Very bad museum, for how expensive it is, Carter's exhibition and tutankamohn's tomb is only explained in Catalan and a pamphlet in Spanish, where neither the order of objects nor what each comment or description belongs to is indicated, so I would ask the directors for a better explanation in all languages besides Catalan of course q is the q is on the walls.
