Itinerary
Wat Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram is a Buddhist temple in the Dusit District of Bangkok, Thailand. Also known as the marble temple, it is one of Bangkok's best-known temples and a major tourist attraction. It typifies Bangkok's ornate style of high gables, stepped-out roofs and elaborate finials.
Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha), or Wat Phra Chetuphon, is right behind the Temple of the Emerald Buddha – it’s a must-see for any first-time visitor to Bangkok. As one of the largest temple complexes in the city, it’s famed for its giant reclining Buddha that is 46 metres long and covered in gold leaf.
Wat Traimit in Bangkok is known for housing a 5.5-tonne statue of a seated Buddha. The gold sculpture dates back to the 13th century and measures at nearly 5 metres in height. Located in Chinatown Bangkok, this ornate temple is about 450 metres west of the Hualampong Railway Station.
The Democracy Monument was started in 1939 to commemorate the 1932 revolution that ended the absolute monarchy and introduced Siam's first constitution. The design of the monument is full of symbolism. For example, the four wings are each 24 meters high, signifying the 24th of June date the new constitution was signed. The location of the monument, between the old Grand Palace and the Dusit Palace, is also significant. A copy of the original constitution is held in central pedestal.
Bangkok’s Chinatown is a popular tourist attraction and a food haven for new generation gourmands who flock here after sunset to explore the vibrant street-side cuisine. At day time, it’s no less busy, as hordes of shoppers descend upon this 1-km strip and adjacent Charoenkrung Road to get a day’s worth of staple, trade gold, or pay a visit to one of the Chinese temples. Packed with market stalls, street-side restaurants and a dense concentration of gold shops, Chinatown is an experience not to miss

A very informative tour, our guide was brilliant! He went into great depth about the history and origin from the temples and even when we travelling to temples by taxi he would explain some of the Thai history in things we passed. The temples were stunning and we had more than enough time in each one, the guide didn’t rush us and gave us space to explore as well as expanding the key parts to begin with. Would recommend to anyone looking for half a day temple tour.

The whole trip was indeed value for money. we were able to capture lots of instagram worthy pictures. The historical background from the tour guide made it more interesting. We were in awe with their artistry and creativity, fascinated by their rich culture. Amazed how they were able to preserve important landmarks. We are surely privilege enough to witness all of its grandiosity.
Dear Guest, Thanks for your 5 star review and thanks for booking your Bangkok Temples and City Tour with us. We do hope to see you again and thanks for choosing I Asia Thailand Regards, Nick
A well executed tour, and a must-do for visitors to Bangkok. While you can visit these temples on your own, visiting them through this tour with a guide makes all the difference. Our guide Nan spoke very good English. Our favourite temple was the one with Reclining Buddha.
Dear chrissmug, Thank you for sharing your comments here. Yes, visiting the temples can be done on your own but having a local guide from I Asia certainly does make it a much better experience. Best regards, Christopher Product Manager - Tours & Activities Online I Asia Group
Tour ok but honestly all the temple trips a very similar. This one is good if you are limited on time but much of what you we had already done by tuktuk druver and pruvate boat trip
If you are planning to visit the main temples in Bangkok is a good way to visit them. This period of the year it is extremely hot at this tour eases the visit. I didn’t like the end of the tour when the take you to visit a mall to buy some jewellery.
On time pickup. Fabulous guide '''Mr. Prai' he kept us all engaged throughout the tour. I would like to add that he was very good. This tour is a must if you want a quick look at the important temples and main city areas.
