Itinerary
Explore the charming side of Bangkok with a long tail boat tour. Begin your journey at River City Shopping Mall, where you'll meet your guide and embark on a captivating adventure. Delve into Thonburi, the city's former independent province, which remained separate until its merger with Bangkok in 1971. Discover the local way of life, a rarely glimpsed facet of the city, as you traverse the historic canals. In the past, these waterways made Bangkok famous as the "Venice of the East." The klongs served as vital transportation routes, bustling floating markets, and even sewage disposal. While many of Bangkok's khlongs have been filled in, the Thonburi region on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River still preserves these iconic waterways.
Admire the exquisite beauty of Wat Arun, a jewel among Thailand's temples, as it graces the riverbank.

Really interesting you see a part of Bangkok you just would not be able To on foot. Really enjoyed this boat trip. It was with a big group of people approx 30 (so if you want smaller not for you). I found it hard to understand the Thai Guide due to her accent but the things I did understand was fantastic.
It's great to hear that you found the boat trip in Bangkok really interesting and a unique way to explore parts of the city that you wouldn't see on foot. While being part of a larger group can have its own dynamics, it's wonderful that you still enjoyed the experience. If you have any specific questions about what you saw or if there's anything else you'd like to explore in Bangkok, feel free to share!

I had a wonderful time in Bangkok, Thailand. I stayed at the Central Centara Hotel and had the opportunity to visit the exquisite Ahuttay Temples, as well as experience the vibrant floating and railway markets.
