It was a great tour but very expensive for the price we paid for 5hr tour for 2 of us. It’s a small island so doesn’t take long to go from one site to the other. I thought we would stop for lunch but tour continued for 5hrs without a break. Mosques were spectacular, truly amazing and the museum was really good too. The boat ride to water village was also really good. I wouldn’t recommend this tour just for the price otherwise good tour and great guide.
We had a quick stop over in Brunei and this tour was perfect! Fendy our guide was super friendly, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. He showed us a load of great sites in the city! I would highly recommend this tour! Don’t miss it!
Thank you Affendi for the lovely tour :) you were very insightful and we learnt a lot today about the sultan and your country ! Brunei is a peaceful country and not very touristic but the people are friendly and it is safe , I would suggest this tour as it takes you to all the key locations comfortably :)
There are a lot of ‘photo stops’ only - but that was as expected and well indicated in the outline. Our tour guide Fendi was very lovely and very knowledgeable. It was nice to have the guide in the museum to give context to what we were seeing.
I’m so glad I took this tour because it was a great way to be introduced to Brunei. My guide, Fendy, was knowledgeable, kind and fun to be around and learn from. Plus he patiently answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend this tour.
I am so glad I took this tour, which was the best possible introduction to this lovely country in northern Borneo. My tour guide was Mohammad Effendi, who customized the trip to my preferences. We visited 3 spectacular mosques: the Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, the Ash Shaliheen Mosque, which reminded me of the mezquita in Córdoba, Spain, and the Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque. We also went to the Kianggeh Market, and saw the Royal Palace (Istana Nurul Iman) from the gate, and the tour also included a very picturesque boat cruise to the Water Village (Kampong Ayer).
Enjoyable tour of Brunei’s important sites. Water village is not to be missed, a very unique feature of Brunei. Recommend combining this tour with the proboscis monkey river tour to get a full scope of Brunei.
This was a well planned tour. We got to cover most of the sights in an efficient manner and without feeling rushed. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The ride was comfortable. Water village is must visit. A good tour for a quick immersion.
Thank you for your kind comments and thank you for visiting Brunei as part of your holiday destination.
Our guide, Fendy not only brought us to many places of interests, he also shares the history of Brunei and culture of its people. I was in awe of the 2 majestic mosques.
Gandi was an excellent guide with extensive knowledge of his country to share with us. He loved our visit to the market, two Mosques, the Royal Museum and boat tour and visit to the water village. Visiting a water village home was special, ended with a great lunch.
