4 :00am - 4 :30am - We will pick you up at your hotel in Mexico City and transfer to the balloonport in Teotihuacan The Angel of Independence will be the meeting point for travelers who do not provide an address, or are far from the collection area Collection times are approximate
This is our balloon port, here we will record your visit to the land of the gods, you will have a stop for coffee and cookies in which we inflate your balloon in this process we will take many photos! and then we will live the magic of being in the air

You will taste liqueurs elaborated in Teotihuacan, mezcal and tequila with small didactic workshops very interesting
We will visit the ruins of Teotihuacan, feel free to walk among the striking buildings, visit the local museum and climb the temple of Quetzalcoatl. (Admission included and certified guide if all-inclusive option is chosen)
We will return to your hotel in Mexico City (if you choose an option with transport)

We had a great experience on the hot air balloon! Pick up time was as communicated and we were collected from our hotel and driven to the departure location. Refreshments, toilets and seating provided while we waited to be driven to the area to get into the balloons. We had our photos taken and drone footage captured which was really good to have. The journey itself was very cool, well organised and landed safely, then given a glass of bubbles! The views of the balloons across the skyline was spectacular.

The actual tour was great, I had no complains. The only thing i would recommend is that reply to my messages that i sent in viator like a week before the reservation. And maybe give a bottle of water when we got to the van during pick up.

A unique experience that is worth living at least once in a lifetime
I understand that some guests were able to attend this excursion, but my experience was very different. I was staying at the Gran Hotel Ciudad de Mexico, which was located in an area heavily affected by protests, road closures, and increased security measures. The operator required me to travel approximately 20 minutes away from my hotel for a 4:20 AM pickup. Because of the ongoing demonstrations and safety concerns of navigating unfamiliar streets before dawn, I contacted the operator in advance and requested assistance or a closer pickup location. Instead of helping, I was told to contact the driver directly. Unfortunately, the driver did not respond until the scheduled pickup time and only then provided details and photos of the pickup location. At that point, there was no reasonable way to safely reach the meeting point. The lack of communication and failure to provide a workable solution left us unable to participate in the excursion despite making every effort to do so. What is most disappointing is that my refund request was denied by the tour operator and reported to trip advisor to deny because “other guests were able to attend.” Other travelers may have been staying in different parts of the city that were not directly impacted by the protests and road closures. My case should have been evaluated based on my specific circumstances, the documented communication issues, and the safety concerns involved. I cannot recommend this tour operator due to the poor communication, lack of customer support, and unwillingness to take responsibility when legitimate issues arise. ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)
