Lempuyang Temple is called the gate of heaven. The temple’s unique location and spectacular views are definitely a highlight for the fit and willing. The steep and challenging climb with more than 1700 stairs will lead you to the temple almost 1.200m above sea level. The entire area around mount Lempuyang is actually one of the best to hike and enjoy a Bali, that has nothing to do with the south.
Tirta Gangga Water Palace is a stunning tourist attraction near Ababi village less than an hour’s drive from Denpasar. Designed and constructed by Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem, the last King of Karangasem, in 1948 and showcases a unique mix of Balinese and Chinese architecture.
Water is the most perfect traveler because it becomes the path itself when it travels. Sometimes we need to follow a path to undertake the most beautiful journey of our life. There are innumerable paths in Bali that will lead you to untouched places, and if you push yourself a bit harder to really explore the secrets that Bali has hidden far away from the commercial tourists, you will discover these places. There’s so many amazing things to say. First and foremost, our guide Turah was incredible. He treated us like VIP, made sure the entire day went smoothly & that we were happy and comfortable from start to finish. Honestly he played such a huge role in making the day the most memorable for myself and nephew. My nephew is a teenager and not much excites him however he loved the entire day and loved talking with Turah. The places were beautiful, and the photos we took were out of this world. We had the BEST time!! Our guide and friend for the day Aji was absolutely amazing. He was a great driver, photographer and entertainer.He offered us cash for coffee and breakfast while we waited for the gates of heaven temple to work through the line. He even did special stops to help us find some amazing artwork and jewelry. We would choose Forever Vacation over and over again! Unbelievable experience! Booking with ForeverVacation team was the best part of my husband and I’s trip to Bali. Even more, Angga and Cahyadi were such a blessing! Angga provided great, prompt , comfortable and safe transport with excellent communication for pickup and drop off. Cahyadi’s photography skills were amazing! I don’t know what I expected from the many photos he took during the tour but they came out so beautiful it brought tears to our eyes! What an experience! Recommend booking tour for early morning pickup if possible (4am) to beat traffic and lines! 10/10 recommend! Zero complaints!

If there is one tour you are gonna do while in Bali this is it!!! A lifetime of amazing memories, breathtaking sites, not just “instagram worthy” photos but real lifetime memories for you and your travel companions. Big recommendation: start super early. I made my wife and kids sign up for the 4am start time and our amazing guide Turah Rai agreed to pick us up even earlier as I wanted to be one of the first at the gates of heaven. We got ticket number ten! Some people who get later numbers like say 130 end up waiting hours for the gates of heaven photo. We got ours at sunrise! Turah was ever so patient with us. Took pictures. Helped us get a sarong for entry. Because we finished early, it gave our family a chance to grab a coffee and pastry and enjoy seeing the volcanic mountain. The pond was awesome (buy fish food before you walk in). Great pics of massive fish and beautiful step stones in the pond. Again Turah helpful as a guide and photo taking. Then off to the jungle swing off a perch! It felt like a celebrity photo shoot. If you have women in your group or even young ones, it is worth paying a little extra at the site to get dressed up as part of the included pro photo shoot with your phone camera. I never realized my phone could capture such amazing photos and videos. Again, pictures / memories of a lifetime! Turah was a fantastic guide and very caring! We were lucky to have signed up for our 3rd tour with forevervacation.com and have the continuity and Turah as a guide for that a few days later for the Uluwatu temple and kachak fire dance (book that one early as tix go fast)! ForeverVacation.com is great. Options to upgrade your vehicle or boat if you reach out for any of the tours. Use them!

A great way to visit all of Bali's most scenic locations and have picture perfect moments. Our guide Agus was not only knowledgeable but welcoming and patient and really helped make our tour special. We not only visited stunning locations but learned about local customs and traditions and got amazing pictures to go with it. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit all the IG spots in one day. Book the earliest in the morning if available to beat the lines. Enjoy beautiful Bali!

Yasa picked us up from our hotel at 3:45 a.m. We had chosen an early start to avoid Bali’s traffic and the long queues at Lempuyang Temple—something we would strongly recommend. We had specifically requested a guide who understood Balinese history, Hinduism and the local culture. Yasa was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly, and he took a genuine interest in answering all our questions. The journey to the first destination was quite long, dark and very wet, but Yasa drove carefully and confidently. We arrived in good time and enjoyed a lovely local breakfast at a restaurant near the temple. I had brought my Canon DSLR because we hoped to capture some memorable photographs. Yasa was excellent at finding the best angles and confidently took charge of the photography, helping us create some wonderful images. The famous Gates of Heaven at Lempuyang Temple were beautiful and the highlight of the tour, and the wider temple complex was equally impressive. From there, we continued to Tirta Gangga, the former royal water palace, with its fountains, koi ponds, stepping stones and gardens set against the surrounding rice fields. Our other stops included a local Balinese coffee plantation and tasting, the famous jungle swing, and Goa Raja Waterfall. Goa Raja was much quieter than some of Bali’s better-known waterfalls and offered a lovely place for a swim. We decided to skip the rice terraces because we had visited them previously. After covering an extraordinary amount of ground, Yasa dropped us back at our hotel at around 7:30 p.m. It was a whirlwind day, but we saw so much and gained a real glimpse into everyday life in East Bali. We had an amazing tour with Forever Vacation Bali. Great communication from day#1 and clear instructions on WhatsApp. They reminded me of the schedule the day before and the team of Buddy (guide), Sutha (driver) and Gede (videographer) arrived promptly at 4 am for our excursion. The guys were great , took great care of us and took amazing pictures and vdo’s, during the trip. I would highly recommend the team and this group of guys, we had so much fun and such a good time.
