Bali Car-Charter: Half Day Ubud Village Tour is one of the most popular tour packages where the journey will explore Ubud Village which is famous for it's art and culture. The tour will be start from your lobby hotel then we will take you to visit Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, where gray macaques roam among Hindu temples, jungle and gorge. Then the next destination is visiting Campuhan Ridge Walk, It is a beautiful walk which is filled with greenery and hills. Our journey continue to visit Ubud Palace, it's one of the most prominent places in Ubud and also be regarded as the focal landmark of the village. If you wish to have your lunch you may inform to our driver and he will drive you to one of the restaurant in Ubud. Then after lunch we will take you to visit Tegalalang Rice Terrace, this site is famous for its beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system).

Ubud Monkey Forest is one of the most famous Bali Places of Interest occupies 27 lush, green acres at the lower end of Jalan Monkey Forest in the village of Padangtegal. Home to over 400 long tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis) which are divided into 4 groups that occupy different areas of the park, it is an important cultural and spiritual site that welcomes upwards of 10,000 visitors each month.
Ubud Royal Palace is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest and locally known as Puri Saren Ubud is one of the most prominent places in Ubud, as it is smack dab on the main Jalan Raya Ubud road and intersection. The palace can also be regarded as the focal landmark of Ubud. The Ubud palace was built during the lordship of the late Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel (1800-1823) and is well kept by his successive heirs. A visit to the Puri Saren is on many of the itineraries to the Ubud area.
The Campuhan Ridge walk is definitely at the top of the list of must do walks when in Ubud. It is a beautiful walk which is filled with greenery and hills. It’s more of a jungle or forest walk so if you wanted to only see rice fields and terraces there are other walks you can do.
Tegalalang Rice Terrace alone has an outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well known spot for tourists to stop and take photos.

We had the pleasure of spending a 7-hour day with our guide Nengah Mintayasa. He arrived at our hotel on time, the car was very clean, he brought umbrellas which we ended up needing to use, and he gave a wonderful tour of some amazing sights. Our favorite was definitely the Monkey Forest. We made a last minute reservation the night before and the company was very quick in their confirmation.

Wow! If you are wondering whether to choose this tour, wonder no longer! Just do it! First, our driver, Gusty, was the coolest and most chill guy ever. He drove us around the most interesting streets through Denpasar and Ubud. It was great when Gusty would tell us the Indonesian translation of a place and then he would help us pronounce it. This was such a great learning experience. One of our favorite parts was visiting the Monkey Forest. One of the monkeys climbed on top of my mom to get her sunglasses!! Tricky monkeys! We also loved the King's Palace and the Ubud market. We got most of our Christmas shopping for our family completed at this market. Beautiful jewelry, clothes, and bags of every color, shape, and style! This tour was so amazing and we will for sure book another one with Gusty when we come back to Bali!

We had a very limited time to do a last-minute trip to Ubud. The company were fantastic with quick Whatsapp responses. So my family booked a driver and asked to see Monkey Forest, Tegallalang rice field and the Luwak coffee farm. Our driver, Gusty, arrived on time, prepped us for the day and escorted us for an amazing half-day trip. Our kids (11 and 14 - hard to please!) loved every minute of the day.
