If you wish to have your lunch you may inform to our driver and he will drive you to one of the restaurant, after lunch we will visit Buddhist Monastry, this tourism site is the biggest Buddhist temple in Bali. It is a popular landmark for tourists who seek for one of Bali’s top Instagrammable locations to have some iconic picture for your social media. Make a wonderful picture in front of Handara Gate with the breathtaking view of green scenery and gigantic-exotic traditional Balinese gate as your backdrop. Lake Tamblingan and Lake Buyan located at altitudes of nearly 4000 feet, this is the heart of Bali farming area, with coffee plantations, vegetable fields and traditional rice paddies covering the nearby slopes. Lake Tamblingan is important in the religious life of the local villagers who earn their livelihoods by fishing, farming and ferrying tourists and the devout by dugout canoe to the 31 temples located near the lake. Very little is found about these two important lakes in most tourist literature. Tourism is just gaining a foothold in this very traditional area, with most visitors going to better known Lake Bratan a few miles to the east.
Munduk Waterfall is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest and distance is about 70 km from Denpasar or 20 km from Area Tourism Bedugul, this beuatiful place located near Lake Tamblingan and Lake Buyan, this waterfall located in the village of Munduk, Banjar District, Buleleng regency. Munduk village located at an altitude of between 800 meters above sea level so the air is very cool and very suitable for agricultural areas, especially the coffee and clove.
Buddhhist Monastery is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest and was built in 1970 by locals financing of Indonesian and also aids of Thailand government, and its consecrated in 1972. It has been damaged by earthquake in 1976. The new Stupa has been repaired and is decorated with splendidly colorful confection. The temple complex enjoys a wonderful hillside setting such as brilliant orange tile roof stand over an entrance gate guarded by fine two Naga, with bell tower in the corner of middle courtyard.
Banjar Hot Spring is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest located in Banjar Countryside, Banjar sub district and Singaraja Regency. It is about 1,5 Km from Banjar or 24 Km from Singaraja Town. The best time to visit Banjar Hot Spring is in the morning when its still quiet in the pools, the centuries-old hot springs have been upgraded with modern facilities over time, and have become a favorite retreat and recreational site among locals and international visitors. At the springs site entrance, a ticket office is adjacent to a parking space.

I took a beautiful tour of North Bali today, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The driver, Bhagas, was right on time, kind, polite, and truly lovely to be around. Even though the drive was long, everything was perfectly managed and we were able to see all the planned stops: the iconic Handara Gate, the gorgeous Lake Tamblingan, the incredible Munduk Waterfall, and the breathtaking Brahma Buddhist Monastery and hot springs. 1. Scammed of a significant amount of money and they wanted payment first! 2. Dangerous driver always wanted to take the 'short cut'. We are confident she did not have a licence. She stalled the car on very steep, cliff edge roads and reversed to 'try again'. Driver even thanked god herself, when she didnt go over the steep edge, reversing. 3. Timing was horrible. Picked up late to start the day. We left our accomodation at 8:15am and returned at 10pm 4. Contacted organisers and they're response - Oh sorry driver never driven there before. No apology regarding our safety with children onboard and did not address, of course, the exterme over charging.

As mention on our website and also we mention on our email for the payment of the tour you have to pay upon start the tour to our driver 2. All our driver is a license driver and is not like you said, the road to north bali is on a mountain and there is no short cut to places of interest that you visited 3. The tour is start at 08.00 AM and your hotel in Pecatu South Bali that's why you arrive at 10.00 PM 4. We already apologized that we sent on our last email on 01st July 2025 if our driver is a new driver
The views were great and there were awesome photo opportunities. Highlight was definitely the Buddhist monastery. Fair away trip but well worth it

Ketut was our guide and he arrived on time and was very informative during the trip. He suggested some amendments to the trip due to a Balinese holiday period increasing traffic so we weren’t wasting hours sitting in the car. Went to Angseri hot springs instead and saw heaps of monkeys close up.

We had a wonderful day visiting North Bali. A great coffee plantati on, waterfall, temple and hot spring. The only down fall was the 3hour drive back to Sanur. The staff was insane. Our guide, Ketut went above and beyond to make we had a great experience. He even arranged to get our shoes (which we left in the car) returned to us before leaving Bali. Thankyoy Ketut
