You’ll paddle toward the Pirates’ Channel, gliding through a peaceful mangrove-lined passage. This is the perfect place to watch the lagoon wake up as the sunrise fills the water with soft golden and pink tones. After swimming and exploring, you’ll enjoy a light breakfast with seasonal fruit, toasted bread, and local coffee. GoPro photos and videos are included, so you can take home amazing memories.
On the way back, we stop in a protected natural area to rest and recharge, while your guide shares local history and cultural insights about the lagoon and its ecological importance.

I am upset with the service; everything was very good until the end when I got stuck just before arriving. I couldn't do anything; I had to get off the paddleboard, and it took me a long time to get back on. I started to feel very nervous and the guide was already at the meeting point. I find it terrible that the guide did not take the time to wait for everyone to arrive safely. I did not want to publish this complaint; I did it directly. With the agency in a constructive manner, the guide Rocío's retaliation was to delete our photos and videos, which are, of course, part of the package, a childish and unprofessional act by the agency and, of course, by the guide Rocío from Argentina.
What can I say... Great experience!!! Samuel was fantastic from start to finish! In the morning, we leave early to see the sunrise, a royal silence! And a show 😍 A great breakfast with mangoes that taste amazing (it's the season!). And the return with some background music! Just great! Plus, the walk goes at our own pace! I recommend it 100%!
The experience was amazing ! It was our first time on a paddle board and our guide Samuel has been very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the views amazing !!
This was an incredible experience, watching the sunrise come up whilst paddle boarding on the lagoon is something I will never forget. The fruit served was a lovely touch and Miguel was very informative with regards to the lagoon and nature surrounding. Would definitely recommend this, even for those that are sceptical about an early start, this is definitely unmissable.
Miguel was a great guide. He was very attentive and made sure everyone was looked after, he even arranged a jetski for one lady who felt like she could not return by kayak. The tour was great and a must-do in Bacalar.
To do absolutely!! Our guide Miguel was great, he explained a lot about Bacalar. The tour itself is amazing, you start the excursion under the stars then the sun slowly rises over the lagoon, followed by a good breakfast of fruit and coffee in the warm water of the lagoon.

Unfortunately the tour could not take place due to rain. However, AdvenTours has handled this perfectly. They immediately informed us that the tour could not take place due to security reasons and we either rebooked or had the money refunded.
Amazing experience, I was a bit anxious at the beginning because it was my first time to do paddle board, but it is definitely worth it. A real Must do! Samuel was the perfect instructor and guide, he gave us nice advises and kept an eye on us in particular when we were paddling against the wind! Beautiful view of sunrises and nature! Such a stunning Way to start the day! Samuel also prepared a beautiful breakfast with toast and fruit and explained us about the history and nature of the lagoon! Very grateful
Did not show up to meet. Arrived at 0545 gate was locked, messaged via Viator and WhatsApp no answer. Was asked by Viator to stay until 0615 which we did, they still did not show, still at 0809 no call or apology from the company
