The place is very welcoming, and the host was super kind at all times, but unfortunately, the culinary experience left much to be desired. There was a lack of organization and preparation: they did not know where the utensils or ingredients were, the host did not know how to peel/chop an onion, the meat was defrosted in the microwave at the last minute, and the dough was store-bought, so we did not learn how to make it. We were also not provided with a clear recipe. Additionally, the wines were not uncorked at the moment; instead, they served us what was left from already opened bottles. I believe the activity has potential due to the warmth of the space, but currently, it does not fulfill what it promises as an experience.
¡Muchas gracias!
Great experience definitely would recommend to anyone looking for an empanada making class. Mika was a doll!
We had a great time making empanadas, sampling wine and cheese, and learning about the family culture of Argentina!
A small intimate group of seven. Enjoyed hearing about the history of empanadas and then getting to prepare them myself. There's definitely an art to sealing them. I need to practice. 😊 Loved learning about and sampling the wines of Argentina. Mica was a fabulous instructor and spoke very good English. Great conversation through the evening. If your looking for a relaxed excursion, look no further.
Amazing experience with Raquel and Marlys. They are very good people, friendly, chever and inclusive with everyone. They made the experience very special.
Really fun and enjoyable experience. We made meat empanadas and had 3 different Argentinian wines while the empanadas cooked. Our instructor Felipe was very knowledgeable and great teacher!
We had a delightful time learning the in’s and out’s of making beef empanadas as well as tasting one white and two red wines from Argentina. My husband and I appreciated our hostess Rachel. She made our enjoyable experience memorable. Thanks Rachel!!

Tomas was a great host with a wealth of knowledge, not only about cooking the empanadas, but the regional foods and wines. Great way to spend a few hours in the afternoon
Empanadas are very where in Buenos Aires and it seems only right to learn how to make them as well as enjoy eating them. Add to this tasting some quality Argentinian wine and I can honestly say it is a great way to fill an afternoon. When travelling it’s always good to have a few fun activities to enhance the experience
