Itinerary
This is the most iconic building in the palace, often referred to as the "Royal Pavilion." Built in Thai-style, it stands beautifully in the middle of a serene pond. Travelers will admire the grand structure, which once served as a royal retreat. Visitors can take photos, walk around the area, and enjoy the peaceful scenery that enhances the atmosphere of royalty.
The towering chedi (stupa) at Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon is another standout feature of the temple. Standing at 62 meters tall, it is one of the tallest structures in the Ayutthaya ruins. The chedi is covered in golden fabric and features a circular base that leads to a large, conical spire. Visitors can climb the stairs to the top of the chedi to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area, including other temple ruins and the lush greenery of the region.
Iconic Buddha Head: The famous Buddha head entwined in tree roots is one of the most photographed and symbolic features of the temple, representing the passage of time and nature reclaiming human creations.
Photographic Beauty: A popular spot for photographers, Wat Chaiwatthanaram is known for its breathtaking views and architectural grandeur.

- Clothes that show the shoulders, underarms, back, and knees are not allowed in some sites on this tour, and implementation of these dress codes may be strict.
- Kindly bring a sarong, scarf, or sweater to cover up or wear clothes that fit the dress code
- Please be informed on the day of travel if you want to change the tour start time, there will be an additional charge of 650 THB. If you would like to change the travel date, there will be an additional charge of 500 THB. with staff at the counter.

We had Bamboo as our tour guide and he was amazing he explained everything in detail and answered any questions we had. He also reminded us to drink our water and informed us the historical sites had free umbrellas we could use. We will definitely be booking with him again :)

Good experience with tour guide Bamboo, he was very informative about the history of Ayutthaya. Weather was nice and clear, sun was hot. But there was maybe coffeeshop to get cold drinks.

We thoWe thoroughly enjoyed exploring Ayutthaya with Ying as our knowledgeable tour guide.
