Wat Kudi Dao in Ayutthaya is a peaceful temple known for its historic charm and classic Ayutthaya-style architecture. The beautifully restored main hall, or ubosot, features ornate details and traditional design. Surrounded by sculptures and artifacts, it offers a quiet space to reflect and admire Thai heritage.
Wat Dusittharam is a peaceful temple just outside Ayutthaya’s city island, near Khlong Ayodhya. Its name means “place of contentment” in Sanskrit. The temple has two parts—an old section with a large chedi, vihara, and ordination hall, and a newer area with modern monastic buildings. This quiet spot reflects Ayutthaya’s spiritual heritage and offers visitors a calm place to explore and reflect.
Wat Maheyong is a historic Buddhist monastery just east of Ayutthaya’s old city. Built in the 15th century, it likely served as a meditation center. Though in ruins, its red brick structures remain striking. The ordination hall is still active today, with monks holding ceremonies during special occasions. Recognized as a national historical site, the temple blends spiritual life with rich heritage.

I booked this trip over a month ago. I rang the tour operator yesterday to see what time they would be picking us up at. She told me that they over booked the tour and would have to send us on another tour and I would have to pay more money. I told them no and they cancelled my trip . 17 hours before we where to go. I got my money back but be careful. I am reporting them to the Thailand tourist . They would not of contacted me unless I rang and where very rude on the phone to me after I asked them why they didn't let me know sooner and they hung up. We are going home tomorrow and have no time to book with another tour operator. I will never again book anything through trip advisor again.
Bung was a great guide on this fun trip. We spent a bit of time checking out the vehicle (almost new!) and then headed onto stone by quiet roads and countryside, checked out a temple and then finished up with a short boat ride and lunch. I was the only one on the tour - Bung made sure I got back into town safely. If you're in Ayutthaya for a while this is a great diversion from the usual temple and history based activities. Definitely worth it.
I am from Seychelles 🇸🇨. I was not disappointed the tour guide Mr Watt was very friendly and authentic the food was delicious and the ATV I had the time of my life. I will definitely comeback with my kids.

The route was beautiful, with amazing views of temples, local streets, and hidden spots you’d never find on your own. Bung made sure we were safe, comfortable, and having fun the whole way.
