Authentic Vietnamese Home Cooking Class with Lua
Description
You host Lua likes to keep her menu very simple, so that it doesn't require any special tools to cook, ensuring that you can easily re-create the dishes you learn to make during this class in your own kitchen back home. You will help Lua prepare 2-3 traditional Vietnamese dishes from scratch. She will first advise you on how best to prepare the dish and then guide you step by step through the entire cooking process. She will also share all her secret cooking tips to ensure you to get the best results! After your class, you will sit down together to enjoy the meal you helped prepare. Dishes you may try are (you can choose any three) Bún bò Nam Bộ (Southern Vietnamese beef noodle salad), Bánh xèo (Pancake with chicken/pork/prawn), Phở gà (Chicken noodle soup), Chả giò (Fried spring rolls with chicken/pork), Bún cá (Fish noodles soup), Bánh cuốn (Rice crepe rolls), Gỏi (Mango/papaya/pomelo/cabbage salad). Please note the whole group needs to choose the same three dishes.

Our party of 4 was warmly greeted upon our prompt arrival at Lua’s lovely apartment. She had everything perfectly prepared to lead us through a hands on meal preparation and skillfully directed us through the process explaining how and why each part was done. The 5 of us then shared a delightful meal while learning about Lau and her experiences growing up and working in Vietnam. We all were enthralled with her and the experience.
