Our Guide made our short today visit to Zanzibar, very entertaining, and educational. The highlight was lunch at his home.
We appreciate your incredible review to us 🙏
Our tour guide moved through the streets of Zanzibar at a pace completely incompatible with tourism, and possessed the kind of local knowledge that makes me wonder if he’d personally witnessed most of its history. He knew all the shops who had cats as pets, how to dodge random mopeds in narrow alleyways, and which market vendor was the city’s premier chicken execution specialist. I learned more in 3 hours than I did in 12 years of medical school. At one point, my brain simply shut down with information overload, but the aroma of the fish stalls was the perfect substitute for smelling salts. By the end of the tour, I was dehydrated, covered in cat hair and fish scales, and not entirely sure where I was on a map. Tour rating: 10/10. Cancel your plans, wear running shoes, and go on this tour.

We love an open review and we'll keep it authentic.
Masoud is an experienced guide with excellent English skills, allowing him to communicate information clearly and effectively. He has a wealth of knowledge, a warm personality, and is especially great with kids—making every tour enjoyable for all ages
Thanks a lot 🙏
Msoud led a tour for us in Stone Town en route from Jambina to Nwungi. He was knowledgeable, funny, passionate and caring. We had a great time learning all about the history, although some of it was very sad to hear about. We had interesting discussions about food, cultute, diet, and politics. Msoud's excellent English brought these conversations to life. The trip far outweighed our expectations and enhanced our knowledge to the maximum.. Thank you Msoud. Katherine and Anthony Grafton-Green xx
Thank you Katherine, you are the best 👌
The guide was professional, well informed about the old facts related to the town. Especially his explanation about slavery really touched us
Thanks for the feedback we really appreciate .
Excellent, thoughtful, and detailed tour of Stone Town including plenty of history, trying street food along the way and wrapping up with lunch with plenty of local food options. Our guide was very considerate of sun exposure, potential for stopping at local shops and restrooms, restaurant recommendations, and options for future trips to Zanzibar. Highly recommended!!
Deeply thanks for your incredible review to us, we're very happy to satisfy your needs. Hope to see you soon 😊
