Authentic Indian Cooking Classes at Palolem Beach Road Goa

It was easily one of the best cooking classes I’ve ever taken. I had a fantastic time, learned a huge amount, and enjoyed a delicious meal at the end. I would 100% recommend it to anyone.

Kanchan made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable in her well equipped kitchen. We started the evening with delicious pakoras and chutney that she had prepared for us and then spent the evening learning how to make various Indian/Goan dishes that we can’t wait to try at home! Kanchan was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic and very generous in sharing her skills, ingredients and recipes. A brilliant experience - would thoroughly recommend!

Our cooking class with Kanchan was easily one of the best experiences we had in one month of being in India. Kanchan herself is such a lovely, warm & welcoming person - her happiness is contagious! And the food was honestly amazing too, we got to make so many different things even though it was just the two of us at the class. We were also greeted with a delicious snack and drink when we arrived! We learnt so much, and really feel equipped to go home & make our own Indian dishes. Genuinely cannot recommend this class enough, thank you Kanchan 🙏

What a wonderful experience!! Our host was so cool! She made sure we all spent a very enjoyable moment, while learning a lot about Indian cuisine. She made everything simple and easy to follow, and all the dishes we prepped at the end tasted so good! She taught us to do 8 dishes, and some bread. We had a great group of people, which made the class even more fun! Definitely a must do in South Goa.

From the moment I stepped in the kitchen I felt so welcomed. It’s been the most lovely evening learning to cook with the different spices and being given tips for meal prepping. All the food was incredible and I can’t wait to try the recipes once I get back home. One of my favourite actives in Goa. I would recommend to everyone!!!

Such a lovely experience. The chef was super sweet, patient, and really cared that everyone felt comfortable We cooked five different dishes, and everything was explained in a really easy, relaxed way. We had asked in advance for a specific dish, and she actually listened and made sure to include it, which was really appreciated the food was soooo good Overall it just felt very genuine and personal, Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something fun 🩷

The Indian cooking class was an absolute highlight! Everything was perfectly prepared, sparkling clean and we worked with incredibly fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was totally warm, which was mainly due to the mega sympathetic Indian cook – you can just tell that she loves her job and this passion is infectious! The result was therefore super delicious. I especially liked that we got a very detailed documentation with instructions, pictures and videos of the individual steps via WhatsApp at the end. So you can recook everything in peace at home. Highly recommended!

I had the best evening with Kanchan. She was so welcoming and I was nervous as a solo traveller to be on my own but we had some lovely conversations and it’s a highlight of my trip here in Goa! Left the kitchen with a full belly !
