Our guide Moon (Yue) was awesome! Fluent English and gave us great insight into our trip and future things to do around Hangzhou.
Forest was our guide. His English is excellent! He made the excursion so much fun. He has so much knowledge! We enjoyed the serenity of the experience and immersing ourselves into the tea culture. It was so interesting. Forest is the best guide for any of your touring needs in Hangzhou! Highly recommend!
My parents, husband and I joined this tour as part of a trip to Hangzhou and it was the highlight of everyone's visit. Michelle was a fantastic guide, very professional and giving just the right amount of detail. If you're unsure whether to book a tour or just go to the tea fields independently, I'd definitely recommend the tour - we learnt so much we wouldn't have done otherwise, and it made the whole process easy. Finally, it was great fun getting dressed up in the traditional clothing. Thanks again to Michelle and the driver.
We were picked up at our hotel by our guide and taken to the tea hills where we picked our own tea. The guide provided much information about the history and methods for tea picking/processing, it was a very good time! Would recommend wearing long pants as you may be walking between tight tea shrubs.
We had a great experience! Pick up is at your hotel and once you get to the location you can even do the tour through the tea plantation in a traditional costume. Everything is explained very well and you can even buy the fresh local tea! Definitely recommend!
Forrest was an incredible tour guide. He was warm, friendly and informative. The tea plantation is beautiful, and the tea tastes great. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend
Flexible pick up time and private transfer were amazing. We knew a lot when on the way to the tea plant. Kids were very exited to wear traditional clothe for tea picking and overall the process. It’s very hard to show for kids all the steps of tea production that they were interested and guide did it 100%. We’ve known that we can: not only drink tea, but even eat leaves from tea. And super bonus that price for this tour with English speaking guide was cheaper than for a group trip (from 10to 40 people) that made our experience ten times better)) thank you very much for the tour
We had a great time learning about Hangzhou and experiencing Chinese tea culture! Forrest was a great guide and we learned a lot from him. Would definitely recommend this tour to others visiting Hangzhou.
Fun experience, and very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Very picturesque landscape. Probably better in spring.
Forrest is very nice and prepared. He promptly answered all our questions. The tour is nice and is composed as follows: A few minutes spent picking tea on the plantation (which is very beautiful and scenic) then you go inside where they explain the steps and show you the drying, then they make you try green tea. And finally a last mini walk in the plantation. (2 hours more or less) I put 4 stars because the price seems a bit high for the business but it was still nice for me who had never seen a plantation
