Ki Maha is a stunning upmarket restaurant across the road from the beautiful Onetangi Beach. You will receive an incredible lunch here, including a glass of wine or beer. After lunch if you have time, go and dip your toes in the ocean.

The Mudbrick Vineyard is an incredible vineyard with views of Rangitoto Island and Auckland City, perched up on the hills in Oneroa. This vineyard is the go-to wedding venue in New Zealand, surrounded by Topiare flowers, Rosemary and Lavender bushes. Mudbrick Vineyard wines are known for their hand-picked grapes and range from Sauvignon Blanc to Syrah.

We a fantastic afternoon with our guide Debbie, she shared some wonderful stories about the island and the people, the Māori culture and her amazing skills at crafting with flax and making Māori shawls (I forget the Māori name for them). The wineries are delightful and the meal we had was delicious with the most beautiful views of the beach. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Waiheke Wine Tours to get the more personal touch from a local.

Had a great day on Waiheke island. Our guide Rob was funny and knowledgeable. The wineries were beautiful and the wine was delicious. Our lunch at 372 was fantastic with great views of the water.

What a fantastic afternoon! Our tour guide Shirley was incredible. Very knowledgeable with lots of facts about Waiheke, the culture, and the wine and wineries (of course). Lunch at Ki Māha was so delicious! We’re so happy we chose the smaller, more intimate group. With only eight of us it was easy to engage and get to know all the fun couples traveling with us. The whole afternoon felt very private and personal. Delightful!!

First time in Waikeke island and decided against the hop on hop off, in favor of Debbie's tour. We are so glad! The lunch was fabulous and the tour was very interesting! If you go, order the Tagu rump. The best beef you'll have!

Excellent small group tour with Waiheke wine tours. A great guide, (Shirley), with a lovely lunch and three wineries. Would highly recommend. Trip advisor, as the go between, complicated matters by confusing the currency that we purchase in, garbling and delaying messages and instructions from the actual operator.
