The Sky Tower is located on the corner of Victoria and Federal Street right in the heart of Auckland and operates 365 days of the year. It is recommended that you spend at least 1 hour at the Auckland Sky Tower to really enjoy all there is to offer! Some of the highlights include: • View the city from 220 meters high above street level and stare in awe looking over our beautiful Waitemata Harbour • Panoramic views up to 80 kilometers in every direction • The perfect place to take in the sunset • Free WiFi Children 5 and under are free of charge and the tower is wheelchair and pram accessible.

It is an spectacular view from the top pf the sky tower. This was my second time at Auckland city, so I had it at the back of my mind to visit skycity. While searching for ticket, I found the best deal with Viator and booked instantly for 5 of us. As we did not have much time anyway, but the visit was worth it as you can see the entire city by going around the deck. Not forgetting that you have the option to do sky-jump at additional cost.

The experience on top of the tower was nice. But we had a bad experience with one of the staff members at the gift center. Your picture is taken when you enter and they give you a car with a QR code on it. The pictures are also available to download online. When we were exiting, the staff stopped us and asked us to collect the pictures. The impression they gave us made it seem like it was included in the original ticket we purchased for the viewing. They took us to a booth and asked us to select a picture we like (still no price was mentioned). The staff themselves click on the pictures and then tell you they'll put it in an album for you together with some additional items for a total of 60 NZD. When we told them we didn't want it, they then asked us to pay for the picture which was 35 NZD. When we refused they had the audacity to tell us, it was already printed because we asked for it. All this time they still kept pushing us to get the 60 NZD package saying that it's a better deal. Even better, when we felt we had no choice, but pay for the picture, they then inform us that they had printed two pictures instead of one and that it was an additional seven NZD. The whole experience with this section of the tower in particular was very unprofessional and it felt like a scam. Your staff needs to be better educated to be more forthcoming with your visitors so they can be able to make informed decisions.

An absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish. The journey up the Sky Tower rewards you with breathtaking, uninterrupted views of Auckland in every direction. From the harbour to the city skyline and distant volcanic cones, everything looks incredible from above. The observation deck is spacious and well-designed, allowing plenty of time and angles to take in the scenery without feeling rushed. Visiting at sunset made it even more special—the changing colours of the sky reflected beautifully over the water and city, creating one of the best viewing experiences I’ve ever had. It’s the perfect spot to appreciate Auckland’s unique geography and vibrant urban layout. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city, especially around sunset for the most spectacular views.

Amazing 360 view over Auckland The ticket included access to 3 different observatory levels. A really interesting experience, seeing all of aucklands land marks from the sky. It was a foggy morning when we went up so the harbour bridge wasn’t visible but we could still see heaps Probably allow an hour to look around the 3 levels The kids really liked the virtual reality ride in the gift shop. It was an extra $15 each
