We had a very full day thanks to Sam, he was extremely enthusiastic about wanting to show us his city something most drivers don’t do is he catalogued the entire day with a picture at all the good spots

I’m thrilled you enjoyed the experience and the photo memories — I always aim to make the day as memorable and personal as possible. Today, I embarked on a half-day tour of Auckland's attractions and museum, only to discover the museum was closed for renovations. However, I was pleasantly surprised to be offered a visit to the art gallery instead, which turned out to be a delightful alternative. As this was my first experience in Auckland during the winter, I had been warned about the chilly weather. Ironically, on the day of my tour, the skies opened up, bringing heavy rain and strong winds. My tour guide, Sam, was incredibly apologetic about the weather conditions and went above and beyond to ensure that I had an enjoyable experience. He provided me with an umbrella and even took the initiative to show me a few additional sites that weren't part of the original itinerary, showcasing his flexibility and creativity. I truly appreciated Sam's ability to adapt to the circumstances, and his efforts made the tour memorable. For his ingenuity and accommodating nature, I would wholeheartedly rate this tour five stars.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We truly appreciate your understanding and flexibility during the museum renovations and Auckland’s unpredictable winter weather. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the art gallery and that Sam was able to make your experience special despite the rain and wind. He’ll be thrilled to know his extra efforts made such a positive impression. Your kind words mean a lot to us — and we’re so glad your first winter visit to Auckland was still a memorable one! We hope to welcome you back again, perhaps under sunnier skies next time.
