What a great time our group had..saw some great scenery and the wine tasting was very nice..had a good choice of red and whites to taste…wonderful and very informative drivers..well done!
Good views of the city. The wine tour was great. Our guide, Jason was knowable and we were not hurried.
The day started with a hotel pickup by our driver/guide Wayne. Once we got started, Wayne narrated interesting facts and history about Auckland. He shared stories and pointed out places of interest. During our stops, Wayne made himself available for any questions or for causal conversations. Throughout the morning, Wayne maintained a wonderful sense of humor and kept everyone in a good mood. Late in the morning, Wayne dropped us off to join the afternoon wine tour and lunch with Mairi. Mairi was pleasant and personable. She mentioned that this was her first time leading this particular tour. You could not tell because she handled things well. Our tour group really got along well. We had a great time together and enjoyed a fine lunch at one of the wineries. Mairi shared information and answered questions as we went along. We headed back late in the afternoon. Everyone expressed how much they enjoyed the tour led by Mairi. If you are considering a wine tour in Auckland, consider this one.
Meredith was our city guide and she was fantastic! We learned a lot about the area and she was so fun and patient with everyone. We had Erin for the wine tasting portion and she was wonderful. It was a great day all around.
Everything was as described - no surprises, which is always nice. The guide was very informative - and provided a lot of insight into the area, the culture, the people. I learned a lot of the history. The vineryards were spectacular. I highly recommend this tour!
The whole trip was memorable. The guides were most informative and helpful throughout. The city tour took us to every part and the winery tour, including lunch, eas superb.
Bush and Beaches were the best - Auckland city tour and Kumeu wine tour. Both were exceptional and very interesting! Full of facts, fascinating scenery, and informative - especially on the wine tour.
This is a great combination - an interesting tour around Auckland and then out in the countryside to visit three lovely wineries. Lunch was great and the wineries were all worth visiting. I highly recommend this excursion.
Fantastic tour with knowledgeable and entertaining guides the whole way! I did the city tour part with Alex and the winery tour with Kelley. Both were outstanding and made the tour lots of fun. I would do this tour again and recommend this to anyone who loves wine and interested in knowing more about Auckland and New Zealand.
