This tour combines the very best of Auckland city in the morning, with the best of Auckland nature in the afternoon. The Auckland City tour is an easy morning introduction to the diverse city of Auckland. The tour has plenty of photo opportunities and includes views from Mount Victoria in Devonport, which are not to be missed! The afternoon nature tour is a great introduction to New Zealand's nature and visits some of the stunning rainforest scenery, as well as the glorious Piha Beach. Easy walking tracks and dramatic coastlines are only a short drive from Auckland's city centre. Our experienced guides and small group size means you will be well looked after. In the afternoon we also include a New Zealand style afternoon tea including biscuits/cookies and tea, coffee or juice.

Travel up Queen Street - the main street of the city centre, home to iconic buildings and a mixture of shopping and CBD offices
Travel through the suburb of Ponsonby, with stunning heritage homes
Travel over the iconic Auckland Harbour Bridge, connecting Auckland City with the North Shore suburbs
Enjoy views of Auckland city and the Hauraki Gulf
Visit a white sand beach on Auckland's North Shore - a stark contrast to the black sand you will see later in the day. (Generally there is time here to purchase morning tea or a coffee if you wish - at own cost)

Tours departs daily from selected inner city Auckland hotels/accommodation with picks between 8.30am - 9am and returns to the original departure point at 5:30pm. The hotels listed above is not a full list of pick up locations, we pick up at most city center hotels/accommodation - please advise of the hotel name when booking.

We were picked up at our hotel; they even came to find us at the other entrance since we misread the instructions. We did a 3hr city tour on a smaller coach. It was rainy, and we had rain gear with us, but the company also provided rain gear for those who did not. A few photo stops which were nice even in the rain. around noon, we transitioned to the wilderness tour, some of the same people and some new ones, so you can do all or part of the tour. We drove out to the West Coast of Auckland and did some sightseeing, stopped for some meat pies (we bought), stopped at a black sand beach, and took a short hike through the rainforest. Very enjoyable day.

Wonderful guides on both the morning and afternoon tours. Drove into interesting neighborhoods, gave historical significance and fun facts. Piha beach is beautiful and the rain forest walk was interesting and enlightening. Great way to spend a day in Auckland. Our morning and afternoon tour of Auckland was super enjoyable! Our guides, Kelly and Peter were very knowledgeable and nice, we also enjoyed the stops at the rainforest and Piha Beach. Overall, this experience was fun and amazing!

This was a great all day tour. It was my first day in Auckland and morning was a great introduction into my surroundings. A stop for a famous Auckland pie for lunch (not included) and we went for a guided hike through an easy trail through the jungle. Finished off at the beautiful Piha Beach and a tea and cookies picnic. It was a day to remember.
Noel and Warren were excellent guides! We loved the entire day's experience. Very comfortable bus, all early/on time. Was a better tour than we expected. Highly recommend!
This tour was on our first full day in Auckland and It was an excellent orientation to the city. Commentary was great and helpful
I really can recommend this tour. In the morning you see the best spots of Auckland. Guide Wayne was very funny and gave good insights about Auckland. The highlight is the afternoon tour where you visit a rainforest and Piha beach. Guide Annie had an outstanding knowledge about the flora and fauna in the rainforest. Visiting Piha beach is an absolut must if you are in Auckland. So all in all it was a perfect day to see the best of Auckland and surrounding.
A nice way to get overview of city inorning then off to rainforest with informative walk and then some time on time most beautiful black sand beach.
