ATV or Buggy Guided Tour from Tamarindo, Conchal or RIU Hotels

This was just a great experience and Reynols was the best!!! Instructions were great and everyone was very friendly. When we headed out there was a lot to see, and the two beaches we had pit stops at was beautiful.

It was a fabulous day, there were 3 adults and 2 girls, we enjoyed it immensely. We started by receiving the recommendations and safety details from Mr. Johnny in a super explanatory video. Then we started the tour with REYNOLS who was our guide throughout the entire trip. We visited Puerto Viejo Beach and Pirates Bay. The tour was full of a lot of adventure and adrenaline, Reynols was always attentive and mindful of our well-being. Highly recommended and we will be back!!!

Rented a side-by-side for my family and had a blast on our tour! Apologies for forgetting our guides name, but he did a great job keeping us safe, pointing out the wildlife, and making sure we had a great time. The tour was the perfect amount of time and we enjoyed stopping at the beach for 30 minutes in the middle of the tour. It was also a special experience driving through areas you’d normally never see taking the main roads. Thank you for everything! Can’t wait to come back!

Our tour Guide Jason was a lot of fun! We rented a buggy and had a blast driving through the sand, dirt, and up and down the mountains. The pictures also came out great and its an experience my kids will never forget!

This tour was a lot of fun. The ride was through towns and farmland. You see a lot of the countryside. The 3 beaches we visited were stunning. Loved this tour.

I booked this activity for our family of 7 through Expedia. I specifically bought the package with round trip transportation. Shortly after booking, I received an email asking what hotel we were staying at to arrange for transportation. I provided the necessary information. Two days before the activity, I received an email stating that they need to confirm we want transportation and if so it was normally $50 per person but they will do it for $25. I sent them my Expedia confirmation showing I had purchased the transportation from Riu. They didn’t respond, I messaged them on WhatsApp no response. I called and a very rude man told me I didn’t buy transportation and I needed to listen to what he was saying. He began to tell me how overbooked and busy they were. Due to the rudeness and lack of common ground, I called Expedia and they canceled and refunded my tour. This felt like a total scam and I would strongly urge against booking this company.

If you are looking for a super fun activity to do in the Tamarindo area of Costa Rica, you should definitely check out this ATV adventure. I recommend you bring a bandana, sunglasses and sunscreen.

My ATV experience in Costa Rica was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of my trip! If you’re planning to do this adventure, there are a few things you should know: do not wear your good shoes — you will get muddy! The mud, rocky roads, and off-road trails are all part of what makes the experience so much fun, so come prepared to get a little dirty. The adventure takes you through some of the most beautiful landscapes Costa Rica has to offer, including breathtaking beaches and scenic trails. Along the way, we even spotted wildlife, including monkeys, which made the experience even more memorable. You’ll ride through a mix of terrain — from rocky paths to muddy roads — making it exciting the entire way. The instructors were outstanding! They were professional, patient, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident before heading out. They took the time to match each person with a vehicle that was easy to handle and suited their comfort level. Throughout the ride, they were attentive, making sure everyone was safe, aware of the conditions, and having a great time. This was more than just an ATV ride — it was an adventure that allowed us to experience the beauty and nature of Costa Rica up close. If you’re visiting Costa Rica, this is absolutely a must-do activity. Come ready for fun, mud, amazing views, and an unforgettable experience!

Everyone at the 506 was very hospitable and extremely courteous. Our guide, Juan was a great guide, took his time showing us around, explaining all the different location, beaches, pointing out the howler monkeys. This was a terrific spot to see this part of the area where we were staying. I highly recommend 506. They’re a great company.
