Try and go early because the site gets very crowded. Make sure and reserve seats in advance. There is an option to hike 45 minutes to a restaurant so make sure and wear appropriate shoes/clothing.
Really beautiful! Our grandchildren live in Asia. So seeing the snow and making snowmen in the middle of summer is a great memory ⛄️
Best experience you will ever have, although the price is a bit expensive but the guidebook you get before traveling is worth it. This trip is for people who don’t like going in groups.
Thank you for your review and happy our travel book helped you having a great day. You are right, Jungfraujoch is one of the most expensive destination in Switzerland - but really worth the money when travelling independent.
The top of the mountain when the clouds cleared gave us a perfect view of Jungfrau. The Eiger Express gondola was a breathtaking ride along the north face of Eiger.
Happy you had a great self-guided tour.
The self guided tour is suitable for those who wants to explore the Jungfrau region on their own pace. The organiser knows this well and provided a guide book that will help you to navigate the transport and routes within the Jungfrau region
Thank you Richard for this review, I could not explain it better (except the travel book I wrote for this tour). Kind regards
It’s hard to describe. Amazing mountain and glacier views. The entire facility on top of the world was incredible.
Happy that you found the destionation without tourguide, just with our tickets and handbook. Kind regards
We went to the Jungfraujoc and it was the pinnacle of our trip! I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Switzerland. The ice palace was super cool. We road the gondola. You define don’t want to miss it. FYI, make sure to bring warm clothes. I brought my snow boots, scarf, undershirt, some long johns (tops& bottoms) a hat, turtleneck, jacket, and windbreaker. I forgot the gloves.
Thank you for the review and I'm happy everything went well on this self-guided tour. I assume, it was easy to travel with our handbook.
We had signed up for the small group tour and were lucky enough to have a private tour because we were the only ones. Our guide, Oskar, was phenomenal. He was a wealth of knowledge and we highly recommend him. He gave us insight into life on a local level and we compared it to how it is in the US. Very pleasant experience.
Hi Marisa Thank you for your feedback, I forwardet it already to your tourguide. Kind regards from Switzerland Mike SwissTravelGuide.ch
