We sat outside on the stern deck so we didn’t hear any of the guide’sbb narration, but that allowed us to enjoy the view. Bring a light jacket.
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the beautiful views during the cruise. We hope to welcome you on board again soon! ☀️ Best regards, Stromma
We booked and paid for our tour of the Gothenburg archipelago and showed up about half an hour before departure because we were coming from another tour. Departure scheduled for 3:00 PM, we asked a staff member what time boarding would start and he answered at 2:45 PM. We hadn't had lunch yet, so since time was tight, we asked him if it was possible to bring takeout food onto the boat; he answered yes, but that sandwiches and other things were available on board for lunch anyway, so we relaxed and waited in line to board. Once on board, the beginning of the end: we asked the girl at the bar for the food menu, she opened her eyes wide and then candidly told us that unless we had booked lunch, verbatim, “there is no food”. In the meantime, everyone had taken their seats; we moved to the upper deck looking for a place to sit and couldn't find one. NONE of the (extremely rude) people who had already sat down comfortably and very spaced out had the brilliant idea of squeezing together to make room for us, so we were forced to sit on the stairs (an absolutely NOT safe place, especially in case of an emergency), but the even more absurd thing is that none of the staff who literally stepped over us to go up or down the stairs deigned to tell us that it was not safe for us to be sitting there and to point out to the other tourists that they should squeeze together. It is assumed that if you take 40 reservations you can guarantee that you have just as many seats!! The only positive note was the guy who acted as a guide; for everything else, I strongly advise against it.
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We're very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how disappointing it must have been. We sincerely apologize for the confusion regarding the food available on board and for the seating situation during the cruise. That is not the experience we want our guests to have. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will make sure your feedback is shared with the relevant team so we can improve both our communication and onboard experience. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the guide and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future. Best regards, Stromma
There is not much to criticize on this boat tour. But since you leave in the north of the city, it takes twice more than half an hour to get out of the port area. The time you spend in the archipelago is therefore limited. Moreover, from the boat you hardly get a sense of the beauty of the area. Much cheaper and much better is perhaps to take the public ferry from Saltholmen (accessible by tram) to the islands of the archipelago. Only those who set foot there can absorb the beauty of the area.
Thank you for your feedback, Gerrit. We appreciate your honesty about the boat tour and we will certainly take your comments into account ☀️ Best regards, Stromma.
Wonderful trip, informative, interesting piece of Gothenburg then and now. Could have been longer, you want to keep time in your hands! The Gothenburg archipelago is striking – almost no change, bare rocks and SO MANY. The west coast is the west coast!
Vi uppskattar verkligen ditt beröm - välkommen tillbaka ombord för fler äventyr i Göteborg! ☀️
We enjoyed the island part of the trip but for us it takes too long to get there, travelling past all the docks etc.(although some of this did provide some great information). Perhaps the cold dull day didn't help. The guide was very informative... when we could hear her as unfortunately where we were on deck the sound system wasn't good. She was very pleasant though as later on she came round everyone to see if there was any questions we had. A further slight complaint is the seating wasn't very comfortable.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We're sorry that the sound quality and seating affected your experience and we truly appreciate your comments. We'll make sure to pass your feedback on to the relevant team. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on board again in the future. Best regards, Stromma.
Really nice tour with older archipelago boat. We had booked lunch and got a nice seat in the dining room. White tablecloths, nice table setting and fantastic staff - friendly, attentive and you really felt that they cared!! The food was ok but could be better. Coffee and cake included. The guide was knowledgeable and did not speak all the time. What she told us was actually interesting - she also walked around and talked to the guests requesting.
Tack för din fina recension! Vad roligt att höra att du uppskattade turen, den fina servicen och guidningen ombord. Hoppas vi får välkomna dig ombord igen snart! ☀️ Med vänliga hälsningar, Stromma.
We certainly enjoyed the tour. Very relaxing with beautiful scenery.
Scheduled and had confirmation for 11:30 trip. Operator was not there. No one from company available to ask questions. Was told by other tourists that the only tour is at 6pm. Very disappointed
It is not worth it. If you do not pay for lunch, you are a nobody. On a stormy day in Gothenburg, we were told that our place was on the deck since the interior was reserved for those who had lunch included. Upstairs, wooden chairs/benches soaked and raining. People with children getting wet. The only thing they offer you is a blanket. It is probably so you don't get cold... and on the other hand, the guide, do you understand when they speak over the loudspeaker on a train or an airplane? Well, the same.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments and thank you for taking the time to share your experience and I will make sure to forward your feedback to the relevant team. Best regards, Stromma
