"Cold" hot stone and drilling/hammering during massage.

Hot stone was frozen cold and massage came with the noise of a drilling and hammering 🔨 of maintenance work. (Literally sounded like it was in the room next to us) I loved my experience here a few months and was very excited to bring some friends along with me for the second time. Left a little embarrassed asking them all to pay out nearly €70 after the hot stone wasnt working and then the banging during the massage. I would still recommend it but now it feels a bit on the pricey side for what you potentially might end up with on the day, I cant give it the 5 stars. The staff were lovely and u could see they seemed annoyed about the noise too. I said it to two staff about the stone but was told it wasnt working. I guess it would have been nice if they gave an apology about the noice or said it about the stone before we went in. Pretending to us everything was all fine is a bit off.

What a gloriously blissed...

What a gloriously blissed out afternoon. Booked for myself and my husband. He was full of trepidation, having never been to a spa before, and is now, happily, a convert.

Gorgeous and worth the money

I thought this was amazing. Not cheap but worth it as they’ve thought of everything and it feels really luxurious. You do need to be quiet inside but it’s so fab that you’ll just be busy soaking up the fab interior and various baths etc.

Water full of toxics

This place has a very good thing and is the architecture, decoration and atmosphere of the place, but for my taste the price of the experience is expensive and overrated. But most importantly, the water quality is terrible. I went 3 days ago and had to wash my hair already 5 times, and still, I have not managed to get the smell of chlorine (not to mention bleach) out of my hair. This smell is corrosive and dizzy, it is toxic, I notice, my partner and anyone who sits next to me. So if you decide to attend, I recommend that you DO NOT SUBMERGE YOUR HAIR in the water, I am paying the consequences of having done so even 3 days later 😔

Second visit disappointed

My wife and I visited the spa in 2023 and had an excellent visit. We book another visit earlier this week for a full treatment as before but were disappointed. In our previous visit we had the full spa treatments with baths/steam- hot marble slabs so we were well relaxed for scrub/ massage ending. At this visit they started us with the scrub/ massage and then we were left to visit the bath- steam. The marble slabs we laid on were cold. We were disappointed in not having the relaxing baths and steam room first and were not relaxed enough for scrub and message. We mention the cold slabs on our way out and was met with a shrug/don’t know.

Totally relaxing!

Great experience. Be sure to wear two piece swimwear for ladies. Better directions to get to your location would have assisted for people coming off cruise ships.

I can’t go back

I asked Trip Advisor to reach out, they didn’t—I didn’t want to do this. I took my wife for her birthday. We’ve been several times and it’s always been a great experience. I’ve recommended others go when visiting Malaga. We live here. It was late and we were each getting the Midra massage (which I’ve had before). My male massage therapist got increasingly inappropriate and you can take it from there. I froze. Badly. I’m saying this to say, the Hammam has always been fabulous to us. However, if you’re there and something odd happens trust your gut. It’s not supposed to.
