Itinerary
We begin our tour by sharing the captivating story of how Antwerp got its name, accompanied by a delightful surprise to enjoy along the way. A classic Antwerp souvenir to take back home.
We stroll down a charming 16th-century alleyway and indulge in a tasting of authentic Belgian fries. Yes, you heard that right! Not French fries! Belgian is considered the birthplace of the worldwide phenomenon.
We venture towards the historic site of the old butchers' quarters, where you'll have the pleasure of sampling a local cheese and charcuterie, a delicacy whose origins may be considered slightly controversial today.
By the majestic Cathedral of Our Dear Lady, we make our way to indulge in the delectable experience of tasting authentic Belgian chocolate. The Belgian pralines are world famous for good reason!
Indulge in the irresistible delight of Belgian waffles, served with or without a generous dollop of whipped cream, catering to the preferences of waffle aficionados.
To conclude our tour, we gather at a local café conveniently located near our starting point, where we savor the distinct flavors of a local specialty beer from the famous De Koninck Brewery.

This door was informative, fun and definitely a must do activity in Antwerp. We sampled some regional foods, my favorite was the beer and I am not a beer drinker! Luke was a lot of fun and gave an excellent tour. Highly recommended.
This is mostly a food tour which was fine us especially since it was raining. Great group of people and tour director. Plenty of food to eat so I would not eat before. Nice bar at end where we were able to pick our own beet. I would recommend if you want to explore the food of Antwerp.
Very disappointed with this food tour. The first half was mostly a walking history tour, and then the food stops felt rushed and were all crowded tourist spots that I easily could have found on my own rather than unique local places. It didn’t feel worth the price.
It was a very lively and delicious tour . We laughed a lot , ate and the guide Tom brought us closer to the city with legends .can only recommend it.
The guide was fantastic and the food selection was amazing and different The history lesson and the food lessons were topped by a great beer selection
Tom is a fantastic tour guide… we learned so much about Antwerp while enjoying some tasty food and beer. His local knowledge of history and food was very good and helpful for us to decide to return to one of the stops once more for food.
Great tour with good food and fun overview of the city and its history. The tour guide was great, very fun and up beat. Everything was well organized and arranged. The walk was split evenly with the stops for food to ease the strain of the walking tour to not feel to exertive.
This was fantastic! This is not a private tour but was a small group and was perfect size. Paulina was our guide and was terrific. She gave us a lot of history as well as fun food and drinks. I would highly recommend this tour. My kids are 19yo and 17 yo.
It was canceled by the tour company through Viator 2 days ago. My understanding is that a refund is in process
Thank you for your review. But since there was no experience because of not reaching the minimum number of participants, we think it unfair that you rate our product. You did not take part in it after all. Your refund is being processed by Viator. Thank you.
As Belgians we participated in this tour and it was amazing. We even learned new things on our own country and city! Highly recommended!
