We could not have asked for a better guide out of Logan! He also entertained our teenage son the entire tour. Very friendly and knowledgeable, easy going! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
Nolan was an excellent tour guide. He understood that we were on the slower side when going through the waves and was very patient with us. The tours in general are highly rushed (we had done our research and most people feel that) and we felt that too at points but that was mostly due to how the management sets up the tours. Despite pressure on him, Nolan did as much as he could to make us comfortable. He also gave us time to swim because we wanted to and two chilled Lemon Squeezes to slurp on at the end when he saw how tired we were (they really saved us). Very kind and very helpful. If we had to do a tour again, we would only go with him :) Julia was also very helpful and kind at the launch ramp and helped us with logistics.
Our guides were great and the tour was beautiful. Kayaks are mostly doubles unless requested ahead of time. I would suggest bringing additional sunscreen and cold water/snack just to rehydrate and fuel yourselves during the excursion in order to avoid dehydration.
Very friendly, helpful, and encouraging guides. We had an awesome experience!
Love the experience. Our tour guide Brian was amazing. Very nice and encouraging guide. Very accommodating. Also very knowledgeable about the area. Just be aware that June and July it will be quite hot for the hike part.
Mac was very engaging. He dealt very well with some high maintenance customers (disputed that they had signed up for this specific outing, from UT didn't realize the time difference yet tho arriving a full hour early made everyone stand around waiting while they decided they should apply sunscreen once they were partially entered into their kayak, had not read that they needed to provide their own snacks so relied on his supply, would be discourteous to others trying to take pics. He was always pleasant, checking in with all guests in our timeslot, ensuring everyone was well attended. He looked to give a lot of factual insights and from his experiences living in the area. Great guide.
We loved the kayak tour on Lake Powell and the hike through Antelope Canyon. Our guide Mack was very personable and kind to all guests and was just fun to be around. I am especially thankful for the other staff members for helping my elderly mom up the steep hill after the day was over. We all had an amazing adventure. Thank you!
This adventure was not anything like the pictures listed. They advertise Antelope Canyon as if you are going to beach your kayak and be able to walk Antelope Canyon and that is not the case. The kayak to get to the area that’s not in the channel of the lake is rough waters and it’s pretty far. I would not recommend this for first timers or older people. It is and will be a full upper body workout! I was not disappointed with the scenery when you are out of the channel of the lake. I was dissatisfied once I kayaked forever it seemed like and was not able to see Antelope Canyon as that was the whole reason I booked the tour. What the pictures make you think the experience will be, sadly it is not. The only reason I gave this experience a 2/5 is the scenery once you make it out of the channel of the lake.
Good tour. Friendly Guid. Lots of fun!
Kayaking was fun but against the wind on the return. The hike was amazing but exhausting. It's 1.5 miles each way, through loose sand.
