Pass by

It is the former headquarters of the General Council of Andorra and was built in 1580 as the ancestral home and defense tower of the Busquets family. In 1702 it was acquired by the General Council. In June 2003 it was listed as an Asset of Cultural Interest in Andorra.

Pass by

It is an avenue that crosses Andorra la Vella from west to east. It forms part of the old royal road and the traditional road of the valleys of Andorra, today converted into an avenue and the country's main commercial axis. Along the avenue we find shops, several shopping centers and department stores such as Pyrénées, Escale and Hyper Andorra. Almost all the banks in the country have their headquarters in this commercial area. The avenue bears the name of the patron saint of Andorra, the Virgin of Meritxell, whose sanctuary is located in Meritxell (Canillo).

Very enjoyable

Very enjoyable day out - beautiful scenery, great guide, a little pushed for time at points but definitely a great way to spend a day if you’re pushed for time.

Surreal experience

We had an excellent experience on our day trip from Barcelona to Andorra. The scenery through the Pyrenees was absolutely breathtaking, and the itinerary was well organized, giving us enough time to enjoy the beautiful mountain landscapes, charming villages, and the unique atmosphere of Andorra. The highlight of the trip was our tour guide, Laura. She was exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about the history, culture, and traditions of the region. She shared fascinating stories throughout the journey, kept everyone engaged, and made sure every guest felt comfortable and well taken care of. Her enthusiasm and warm personality made the experience even more enjoyable. The transportation was comfortable, everything ran on time, and the entire day was stress-free. If you’re visiting Barcelona and want to experience the beauty of the Pyrenees and Andorra in a single day, I highly recommend this tour. And if you’re fortunate enough to have Laura as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable experience. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great time visiting 3 countries.

Our 2nd, and best, trip to Andorra. This tour was excellent. It took in sights we had never visited before such as the French fort. All of this was made better by the knowledge and active participation in our group. “Leno” is an excellent guide and has a background and knowledge of the area that brings this past alive. Was a great tour with an excellent guide.

Great tour, great guide.

Great tour guide. Blanca is fluently in English and Spanish and is very knowledgeable. The tour was great. The meeting point no so much: there is no easy access. I would like a more accesible meeting point, like Plaza de España or Plaza Cataluña that has great access via metro

3 country trip

The experience was well organized but quite strict on time so we did feel rushed on some of the stops. We spent a lot of time on the bus, which we expected. The drive was very beautiful as we saw the Pyrenees mountains. We would have liked to have spent more time in the small village in France. Our guide Enrique and driver Vikra were great as well, always explaining history and getting us there safely. It was nice visiting the capital of Andorra but it was just a big shopping town and not much history. Absolutely beautiful views on the drive and photo stops, a good trip overall.

An experience I would not recommend

It was really a very bad experience. During practically the entire trip, I had to sit in a seat with no view of the outside, so I could not enjoy the scenery or take photographs. Furthermore, I consider the tour to be too long in comparison to the time actually enjoyed at the places where stops are made. I even asked the guide if I could move to the seat next to her, since the window seat was free, but she replied that she needed both seats. I never understood the reason, especially when that would have considerably improved my experience. In Andorra, I felt it was very insufficient that they only gave us two hours. With that amount of time, you practically had to choose between eating or touring the place, since there was not enough time to do both. They gave us a map, but several of us ended up lost and, furthermore, many shops were closed, so it was not even possible to make good use of the time. What impacted me the most was that, during the return, the trip was extended by more than an hour over the scheduled time and they made a stop very early in the journey. As a result, an approximately eight-year-old boy ended up wetting himself because they did not allow him to get off to go to the bathroom. I believe that situation could and should have been avoided. Ultimately, I have taken tours with a much lower cost and a much higher quality of service. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations and I would not recommend it.

Although the ride is...

Although the ride is long, the views at the stops are well worth it while visiting this part of the world.

Beautiful scenery,...

Beautiful scenery, knowledgeable staff, safe bus driver. The stopping points were well spaced out and opportunities to take photos or buy snacks.
