Super experience. Will definitely recommend it to others

Great trip. Clear recommendation. Our captain Attila was a really good and lively storyteller. We were two adults and two teenagers of 15 and 18 years old. They also got something with them and think it was better to sail than to walk:-) will definitely recommend it to others. It was easy to book.

Operator response

Private boat tour

There were 8 of us on a mini-break to Amsterdam. We had all visited Amsterdam before but the trip took us to new places. Captain Eddy was a brilliant guide, the boat was warm and very comfortable despite the rain. Would highly recommend and we would love to visit again.

Sipping and sailing at sunset. What's not to love?

A highlight of our visit to Amsterdam! What's nicer than sipping wine at sunset, calmly sailing through the smaller canals that those big mega canal tour boats can't fit through? Captain Griffin was a friendly, funny, informative host. I highly recommend being a passenger on his tour.

Operator response

Thank you for the fantastic review Mary! We’re so happy to hear the sunset cruise became such a highlight of your visit to Amsterdam. Lovely that you enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, the smaller canals and the cozy experience away from the larger tour boats. Great to hear our Captain Griffin’s humor and stories made the evening even more memorable. We truly appreciate your recommendation and kind words!

This is the one

This is the tour that Rick Steves recommends and for good reason. The boat is small (max is twelve guests) and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The view of seven bridges is cool and the tight canals are fun to navigate. Do this tour instead of those monstrous glass enclosed tour boats, you won’t regret it.

Operator response

Thank you for the fantastic review! We’re honored to be recommended by the Rick Steves guidebook and even happier to hear you enjoyed the small boat experience with us. Great that you loved the Seven Bridges view and exploring the narrower canals that the larger boats can’t reach. We really appreciate your kind words and recommendation!

Great canal tour

There are many Amsterdam canal tours. Some with large boats, others smaller. This tour was limited to 12 passengers, which allowed our tour guide to tell stories and answer all our questions. It felt very personal. The open boat was great, and 90 minutes gave us more time to see more of Amsterdam from the perspective of the water. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and Eddy was a great guide. Watching the competition slide past us on the water, we were glad that we had chosen this company.

Operator response

Thank you for the fantastic review Robert. We're happy to hear you enjoyed the more personal atmosphere of the smaller boat experience. Lovely that the longer tour and open boat gave you a chance to really take in Amsterdam from the water, and awesome that our Captain Eddie made the experience even more enjoyable with his stories and answers along the way. We truly appreciate your kind words!
