Amsterdam Live Guided Sightseeing Canal Cruise

Dear Mary, Thank you for sharing your concerns. We are sorry to hear that you felt disappointed with your experience. On the day of your cruise, Amsterdam was enjoying beautiful summer weather with pleasant temperatures and a wonderful golden hour. For that reason, we decided to give your departure a complimentary upgrade from the covered sightseeing boat to our more expensive open boat experience. During the summer months, the open boats offer unobstructed views of Amsterdam's canals and are generally considered the most enjoyable way to experience the city. We are pleased to say that the other guests on your departure were very happy with this decision and thoroughly enjoyed the evening on the open boat. We are therefore sorry to hear that, despite receiving this complimentary upgrade, the experience did not meet your personal expectations. We will keep in mind that some guests may still prefer a covered boat regardless of the weather. We will review our product description to ensure it clearly states that this tour may be operated with either an open boat or a covered salon boat, depending on the circumstances, so future guests know exactly what to expect.
