We had a wonderful experience with a very knowledgeable crew.
It was not what I was expecting for the price. We were by far on the worst boat on the dock. Couldn’t see anything because it was not windows, it was just plastic covering the sides. The bites were a bit of crackers and the all you can drink was just knock off brands. I do not recommend this company.
Very good experience only that it would have been better without rain snow to take better photos and see the sunset, it was rewarding and I recommend it.
We met at the meeting point and the boat never arrived. I phoned them and they said there had been a mistake so they rescheduled us for an hour later than our original time. So we had to walk to our new pick up point and wait for the remainder of the time. When we finally did get into the boat it was nice however we found the lights underwhelming. They all had some deeper art meaning for example there was a radiator that supposedly symbolised kindness to each other?. Maybe it’s more exciting for people who are into art and deeper meaning but for us who just wanted to see some cool lights it wasn’t very good. The Christmas lights were more impressive. One was just a circle and they said it was the sun.
Boat was over packed. Couldn’t see anything (which was the point of the cruise). The seats were wet which then I had wet pants the rest of the night. Couldn’t hear the captain of the boat for the history about the buildings around. It was my mother birthday 12/31 and I thought this would be nice for her…..complete waste of money and would NEVER do it again. We did the drink and eat package which was crackers and pretzels. There was plenty of alcohol/drinks, that is the only reason I’m giving it 2 stars. Absolutely sucked.
Extremely disappointing tour. If you come during the winter, the visibility from the boats is close to zero due to the condensation effect in the heated glass boats. If you have the chance, dress very warmly and go for an open boat. The sculptures / art works themselves are worth seeing. Some are rally nice creations.
The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the city and the installations. The tour was really good, the only down sides were the seating didn't allow viewing from different angles and the windows were a bit streaky so couldn't get the best photos. Overall am enjoyable experience.
Not very impressed with the light festival. The light installations were very basic. We enjoyed the canal cruise and looking at the buildings.
Nice crew and good humor while explaining the art pieces. They keep asking if we need more drinks, they were very polite as well
The light tour was really peaceful and pretty. Tour guides on the boat were really engaging. We upgraded the normal ticket to the bottomless drinks. Totally worth it.
