Enjoy a 75-minute cruise on the IJ river, the Amstel and along the great canals of Amsterdam From the north side of Amsterdam we sail with the super deluxe Stan Huygens 100% electric tour boat via the IJ towards the Amstel. The Stan Huygens (the former favorite ship of Freddie Heineken) is a modern ship with a very luxurious interior. The beautiful sleek design, the semi-circular luxury leather sofas, the beautiful wooden floor and full bar and kitchen give the boat a cozy atmosphere. The Stan Huygens can be illuminated in any desired color thanks to the adjustable lighting plan. Due to the 100% electric engine, it is environmentally friendly and silent. The sleek design of the windows gives you a good view out (windows can also be opened) Freddy Heineken took many (foreign) guests, pop stars and politicians with him on board. Beyoncé, Vanessa Williams and Robbie Williams have performed there and recently the ‘Imagine Dragons’ sailed along.

Impressive works of art in a wonderful atmosphere on the water. Very inspiring. The Amsterdam Festival of Lights is worth it.
The boat was great! The lights were beautiful. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars. There were 2 famlies on this ride with w small children who screamed and cried so we could not hear the narration at all. Also, the dock is a little far away from downtown, a 20€ Uber ride in each direction.
The light show was not that fascinating, many of the light dispalys were so silly especially the waving hand! I think it is very outdated. The boat was clean and nice but the fact that there are no hot drinks ( tea or coffee ) its either beer, water or sugary drinks, on a boat trip that is running for almost 2 hrs during winter time that is strange. I think the trip could have incorporated other factors related to the city history that would have made it a little worth our while. Simple tea or coffee for people who are not interested in getting drunk or high on sugar would be a plus.
