The tour agency was located conveniently near the train station so it was easy to get to. The round trip bus ride made the keukenhoff an easy day trip from the Amsterdam city center. It was early in the season to see the flowers, but there was still a lot bloomed and we had a wonderful time!
This worth well worth it! We enjoyed the amazing grounds at Keukenhof the first week of May. The tulip fields were closed but there was still so much to admire. There were a variety of food vendors and the gift shops were beautiful. We enjoyed all the beautiful photo opportunities throughout the park. The shuttle bus with flexible return was a great option!
Absolutely amazing! Best display of tulips I’ve ever seen……utterly blown away ……never seen so many different shapes sizes colours or varieties of tulips……beautiful 🌷
The ride to Keukenhof was easy to book and the staff at “Hop on Hop off” were very organized. There was a ton of people at Keukenhof but the place is so expansive that the crowds weren’t a problem and we enjoyed all the beautiful tulips and colorful landscapes. We were lucky to hit the peak season at the end of April. It is truly an amazing experience. We really liked the flexible return so we didn’t feel rushed. The bus was easy to find and they got us back to Amsterdam safely.
QBuzz was a terrible experience. While we booked for a specific time at RAI, so did the rest of the world and we all waited well past our supposed time for buses to arrive. If you wanted to stand during the highway ride, you could get on a bus quicker. At the end of the day, the line was even slower. We would see buses waiting in the lot while we were waiting and then they would pull up to take on passengers. All in all, possibly the worst possible way to get to Keukenhof. Don't do it. Find another way. The park, of course, is tremendous.
Amazing experience. Absolutely beautiful. I loved that you could wonder at your leisure and return when you were ready. I highly recommend
We visited at peak season and the flowers were beautiful, and our photos are incredible. The park was larger than I expected and had some nice attractions, like an indoor orchid show. The directions to the meeting point were clear, but it got a little confusing finding the right bus with many groups meeting there (again, peak season). But the bus ride itself was enjoyable and went very smoothly. It left us off near the entrance and the lines moved quickly. We appreciated the flexibility of leaving when we wanted--we walked right over to the waiting bus (on the hour) and it went back to Amsterdam central.
This trip, when the tulips are in bloom, should be on everyone’s bucket list. Very well organized despite the large number of people. Helpful to have flexible return. We arrived at the return site just as a bus was filling up and another one was available to begin loading right away.
What an easy way to get to and experience the tulips at Keukenhof. The ferry stop was an easy walk from our hotel, and the meeting point for the bus was an easy walk from the ferry. The gardens are fabulous even though the flowers were past their prime viewing time. We were there the final weekend for tulip viewing. Plenty of photo opportunities and lots of resting spots to sit and enjoy the colorful view all around you. I will do this again but go earlier in the season.
Getting to and from shuttle bus area in Amsterdam was a bit of a chore.
