Tristen was an amazing guide. Full of fun facts and history. Very attentive to everyone on the trip.
Nice to have e-bikes. First half is mostly industrial; second half is mostly scenic. Windmill visit with the “miller”was the best part and quite interesting. Zaanse Schans visit was quaint, touristy, and a bit lengthy for our taste.
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the e-bikes and that the visit to the working windmill was a highlight of the day. Meeting the miller and learning about this important part of Dutch history is a unique experience that many guests remember long after the tour. We also appreciate your comments on the route and Zaanse Schans. Different guests enjoy different aspects of the tour, and your feedback is always valuable. Thanks for joining our Amsterdam E-Bike Tour to the Windmills of Zaanse Schans with Mike's Bike Tours Amsterdam, and we hope to welcome you back for another Dutch countryside adventure in the future. The tour was amazing! I wish we would’ve had a little bit more time in Zaanse Schans but the ride was wonderful! Rafa was a great guide! Would definitely recommend this tour!
What an awesome day!!! Rafa was a really fantastic guide. Not only is he very knowledgeable (and excited about windmills), he was very careful to make sure everyone was comfortable on the bikes and never too far behind. What an amazing way to get out of the city for the day and explore surrounding areas in a way that can only be done on a bike. I would rate this as a top highlight of our trip to Amsterdam.
Great tour of the country side and Rafa was a great guide
Wonderful excursion outside the city with great views.
Our guide David was fantastic, loved the experience, well worth ever penny!
The experience was nice, i wish they gave us more time at the Zaanse Schans.. I also loved the route.. Ps : The person at the office to be passive aggressive towards me, but my guide was awesome
So fun to get out of the city and see the countryside! Our guide Rafa was fantastic!
David is hands‑down the best tour guide I’ve ever had — and I’m convinced he might actually be part bicycle himself. He led our long ride out to Zaanse Schans with the patience of a saint and the chill energy of a musician who’s seen everything and still thinks life is great. Even when the wind tried to personally attack us, David kept the group smiling, encouraged everyone, and made the whole ride feel like an adventure instead of a workout. He shared great stories, kept the pace perfect, and made sure no one ever felt rushed or left behind.
