A big operation running lots of guests on different variations of these tours in/out of Amsterdam but the company is very efficient and has clearly been doing this for some time. Once on board our bus, we received information and commentary from our driver/guide Gilbert as we made our way out of the city. Gilbert was excellent - very informative and great sense of humour. Our first stop was the windmill cruise which was our least favourite stop overall. Commentary was only available via phone download. Cafe available on board all at an additional cost. It was interesting to see a few of the remaining windmills and just how low the waterline is but overall the cruise did feel like it was dragging at times. The tulip bulb farm was excellent - farmer Daan gave us a great overview of the operation before allowing us to walk through the remaining fields of blooms. The farm cafe (extra cost) was also very good - I recommend their apple pie and hot chocolate. Final stop is Keukenhof were you are left to explore at your own pace with the ability to catch any of the regular return services back to Amsterdam once you're done. The curated gardens of Keukenhof were a highlight due to the elaborate designs and variety of colours. Overall an very good way to get out and see some of the famous tulips in multiple settings.
A fantastic experience , everything was exactly as described a great day out we enjoyed the windmill cruise and Keukenhof was amazing Highly recommend
Fast and easy to get on/off ferry and find the location to pick up tickets and get in line for the bus. Arrive early.
Wonderful day! Enjoyed the smaller tulip farm where we could walk in fields. Buy your souvenirs there so mich better selection at better prices. Kuekenhof… beautiful.. we were there in season. Wonderful!
If you love tulips, this is the trip for you. Seamless details, great staff. But be prepared as irs sn all day adventure.
The whole day was very well organised, good value and there was plenty of time at each activity to wander, take photos, learn and relax with a coffee/cake. The canal trip was leisurely, the tulip farm educational although because i came towards the end of the tulip season, the experience probably wasn't quite the same as not as many tulips/flowers but i knew that before booking. Still wasn't disappointed with the trip and the time spent at the Keukenhof certainly made up for it. Was great that there was no set time to leave with buses departing every 30mins so could relax and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and gardens at my own leisure. Would definitely recommend
I went mid April and it was spectacular. Being able to walk through the fields at the farm definitely made this tour stand out from others. I would have even liked to stay a bit longer at the farm. It was very nice having the option of when to leave Keukenhof so that I was not rushed. I also learned a lot on the farm, bus and boat ride. I will be taking the same tour again next year! Something that is good to know: when you arrive at the meeting spot there is a long line because many different tours are meeting at the same place. Luckily, they are organized and the line goes very fast. You are given a ticket with a color for your specific trip and will be called when your bus arrives.
The only problem was the long wait to return to the meeting point. Benches should be provided so that you can sit while you wait.
Well i had fun especially because there was big crew of Americans and this way we laughed that few pupils waited for us that we going on hunt😁😁😁😁 well I get it it is the last chance to see tulips but little disappointed that we couldn't pick up some tulips to take home for the price we have paid.also the cruise on boat was nice just they could go little further were was lovely big closest one big wind mill for pictures perfect that would have been cherry on top because all the wind mills were very faraway and also we didn't get free apple pie but we had to pay.also when I was booking this tour there was saying we should experience the flight Amsterdam in the Holland but nothing happend we paid 89euros that's quite a lot just for bus ride and on boat. And the gardens were exquisite absolutely wonderful!!!I will book the tour again but this time only the gardens because I want to see more!!in the end very good tour.just advice for approvement we should get at least bottle of water to be hydrated because I had to pay 5euros for water at gardens cos I was light headed.just the sujesstion so people won't drop dead from dihydration.thank U for lovely female bus driver she was very lovely and those females on the boat!!!!♥️♥️♥️
