Amsterdam Bike Food Tour with Private Guide

Description
"Taste the real Amsterdam — far from the tourist crowds — Explore local markets, canals, and cafés on two wheels — even if it’s been a while since your last ride.” Bikes, Bites & Brews isn’t just a food tour. It’s an unforgettable private adventure on two wheels—crafted just for you. With your own local guide (funny, modest, and full of juicy stories), you’ll taste your way through hidden bakeries, buzzing street markets, and cozy brown cafés that most tourists never find. This isn’t a script—it’s a flexible route based on your group’s pace, interests, and taste buds. We don’t just stop at the big sights. We roll deeper—into family-run food stalls, Jordaan courtyards, and Amsterdam’s most delicious secrets. Along the way, expect 6+ tastings, 2 drinks, local laughs, and a crash course in Dutch culture you won’t forget. Think of it as riding through the real Amsterdam, with snacks. And stories. And maybe a beer or two.

Maria was an excellent tour guide and we had a great time with her. She was very patient with our children biking through the streets of Amsterdam. The reason I gave this tour 4 stars is because of communication. The address listed when booking the tour for the meet up spot turned out not to be the correct address. The new address was not sent until the day of the tour, despite booming months in advance. The day of our tour was the day we arrived in Amsterdam. Our plane was delayed and the meet up confirmation was sent while in flight via google link. There was no indication in the message that the meet up place was different than originally confirmed. When we realized the address was different I had a hard time using the google link as I do not use google. We got sent to the wrong address. We were already going to miss 1 hour of our bike tour due to a delayed plane and all the communication mishaps caused us to lose an additional hour. So our 3.5 hour bike tour ended up being 1.5 hours. So if you book this tour I would initiate communication a few days in advances.
Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re so happy to hear you had a great time with Maria — her patience, especially with families and kids, really makes a difference. At the same time, we’re truly sorry for the confusion around the meeting point and how the communication impacted your experience, especially after travel delays. This is not the experience we aim to provide, and we are actively working on improving our communication so this doesn’t happen again. Best regards, Adam and Eve Food Tours.

Fabulous tour with Maria!! She was very accommodating with our family of six. She chose a bike rental next to our hotel so it was easy to begin the tour. Maria was kind, knowledgeable, interested in what our group needed/wanted and was extremely enjoyable to be around! We truly enjoyed our experience and communicated even after the food tour regarding restaurants and places to visit while on vacation in Amsterdam. We LOVED working with Maria and highly recommend this for your next experience!
