Itinerary
Amalfi is a city in a suggestive natural environment under the steep cliffs on the south-western coast of Italy. Between the IX and XI centuries, it was the seat of a powerful maritime republic. In the heart of the city, the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea, of the Arab-Norman era, is characterized by a Byzantine striped façade. The Arsenale Museum of Amalfi is a medieval construction site now an exhibition space. This location can be selected to be visited along with another on this tour.
At 365 meters above sea level, the enchanting Ravello stands out, literally "flower" in the buttonhole of the Amalfi coast, with its refined and ancient residences, Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, pleasant places that for centuries have hosted and inspired composers, poets, writers, artists and movie stars. This location can be selected to be visited along with another on this tour.
Positano is a town on the Amalfi coast, in southern Italy. It is a very popular tourist destination with pebble beaches and narrow, steep streets full of shops and cafes. The Church of Santa Maria Assunta has a majolica dome and a Byzantine icon of the 13th century Virgin Mary. The Sentiero degli Dei hiking trail connects Positano to the other coastal towns. This location can be selected to be visited along with another on this tour.
The "Divina" Amalfi Coast is a destination for tourists coming from all over to admire the natural and architectural wonders of the villages that make it up. The road built in the Bourbon period is 50 km long and starts in Sorrento to end in Vietri sul Mare. Along the way there are paths and stairways built in ancient times from the inhabitants of the area that date back to ancient Imperial Rome. World Heritage of Humanity the Amalfi Coast is protected by the UNESCO foundation.

This was an amazing experience with great professionalism by our driver/tour guide, Andrew. He was very accommodating and offered neat facts about the Amalfi coast as a life long resident. This was probably my wife and I's favorite excursion and a neat way to tour the entire Amalfi coast vs. only seeing the city you're staying in. We got amazing pictures and views thanks to Andrew. 10/10 recommend this excursion.
