Had a great time visiting Altun Ha and taking the Zipline tour. Percy was very knowledgeable about the area and provides very interesting facts about the area as you drive from site to site. Percy was very accommodating and worked with us to coordinate pickup times, pickup location, and drop off. The tour is well worth it and you will have a fun time. Thank you Percy for the great tour!

If I could give -10 for this activity I would. WARNING: DO NOT BOOK this activity; unless you want to be left in the middle of the jungle and find your own way back. We arrived to Belize by cruise ship on March 5, 2020. We met our driver and guide Joey from Royal Belizean Adventures. First stop, my husband and I were left at zip line, while rest of the group went cave tubing. We ended up waiting for more than an hour in a 100 degree humid weather without water, reception or AC. No one at the zip line knew Joey’s phone number or when he was coming to get us. When our tour guide Joey finally showed up, he told us there wasn’t enough time to drive us to Actun Ha and be at the cruise on time. We asked him to take us back to the ship, his response “ I have a tour to do” he dropped us off at the bus station and we took a taxi back to the cruise ship barely making it on time. What was supposed to be an exciting day in Belize was a total disaster. My words can’t even describe how disappointed we are with the choice we made. Please don’t do the same mistake we did.
Hello, this review is a complete lie from this customer. Our business would never jeopardize any of our guest’s safety or their comfort. We take the utmost pride in being a TripAdvisor partner and company, therefore we ensure not to do anything that could cause us to lose this valuable relationship. Firstly, I would like to note that this customer was not left in any jungle any at all and that this entire review was written with malicious intent to completely sabotage and ruin our reputation (Which she stated she would do when she got the chance.) Secondly we would NEVER leave any of our guest to take a taxi back to the port. This customer waited 20 minutes after the zipline tour with water from our company as well as lunch complimentary lunch. Joel; the guide, then took them to altun Ha for the second part of the tour and still got them back to their port with 45 minutes extra to the last tender boat (We have proof). We would like to note that this group came one whole hour after the departure time; and we still waited for them. Tatiana Lesnic called our office number after waiting 20 minutes at the zip line, (proof that she had cell service and was not in in danger whatsoever) hurling racist insults and harshly cursing out our representative demanding that Joel pick them up immediately. We immediately contacted Joel and he was already pulling up to the site from the cave tubing site ( which is 5 minutes away); and we could hear Tatiana cursing and hurling racist and degrading remarks to everyone that was nearby. It is unfair to us to have our entire experience SUSPENDED from being sold on TripAdvisor but, it is even worse to see that this person still able to post such vicious, untrue and devious reviews on our company page for our new guests to see.
Joey was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the area, as well as a fountain of information about politics, economy, history, etc. Richard and Carlos at the zip lining were informative, friendly, and safety conscious. Enjoy the ride 😄

My son and I and another couple combined Altun Ha with cave tubing for an all-day trip. Herman was our guide, and did an excellent job for us. I've been to a lot of Mayan ruins, but Altun Ha is one of my favorites. It is only partially excavated, which gives it a more original feel. It is surrounded by local villagers in hand-built houses that are also located on top of unexcavated ruins. If you want to get a good feeling for what things must have been like long ago in this part of the world, Altun Ha is the place to go. As for the cave tubing, I've never had a comparable experience in my life. The water is clean and cool, the cave is very long, and this was a good 90-minute experience, Don't worry, the water isn't very deep and Herman tied all of our tubes together and guided us through the cave. There are some bats on the ceiling, but no smells or bugs. I recommend it for anyone between 12 years old (my son) and 61 years old (me). It is not very physically challenging (maybe a 4 out of 10), and you will get a genuine jungle experience. Well worth the $$$

I highly recommend these tours and this tour company. Percy was a very knowledgeable and experienced guide for such a young man. This was my first time zip-lining at age 71. The crew there made me feel confident. It was a blast! Because it was not a cruise ship day we were the only people at the Altun Ha. Mayan temple site. Percy gave us a great tourand explained a lot of the history.

This trip was amazing! Percy was my guide. He was super helpful and made things really smooth and easy. He was really informative and helped make sure I made my water taxi in time. I was traveling alone and we had a group of four that joined us from the cruise. I had only booked the zipping and ruin tour but he offered the cave tubing for a little extra $$. Well worth it!!!

Percy arrived promptly to pick us up at our hotel. His vehicle was clean and well maintained. He did a great job narrating during the drive about the history of Belize, the types of land we were driving thru and interesting facts about the area. Zip lining was fun and very safe. His knowledge of Altun Ha and it’s history was spot on. He gave us plenty of time to explore and didn’t push us to move quickly. Highly recommend!
