This was the worst tour I have ever experienced. There was a change in guide, who arrived 15 minutes late, after delaying the start time by 1hr. He had no information to offer, unless a direct question was asked, was on his phone all the time and asked if we would wait whilst he had his lunch. His guiding was non-existent apart from walking to a couple of places we could have followed on a map. A total disappointment. Not recommended at all.
Hi Neil, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re very sorry to hear about the delays, lack of information, and overall unprofessionalism you encountered. This is far from the standard we aim to provide. At Guydeez, we want every guest to feel engaged and well taken care of throughout their tour. We’ve already contacted you via email to follow up directly and sincerely apologize for this disappointing experience. Warm wishes, Guydeez Team
Dina was an excellent guide - and Marat arranged everything perfectly. We saw the National Museum, a walk through the areas of interest in Central Almaty, a visit to the subway (at the Silk Road Station), the orthodox cathedral and monuments of the Soviet era, winding up in the fascinating middle of the Central market with Korean traders, those selling horse meat and all manner of things. A true insight into Kazakh life.
Marat explained the sights to me great it was wonderful to do the tour with him It was not hectic I could watch everything in peace! A great travel guide! Lg Karl
