You'll take a ride to the deepest metro station in Almaty with a guide
Next stop will be a photostop+famous pedestrian Panfilov street, where you'll have the chance to take some great pictures.
Near Zenkov Cathedral, you can explore the beautiful Panfilov Park, which surrounds the cathedral. You can take a leisurely stroll through the park, and admire the impressive architecture of the cathedral itself. Additionally, you can try some local Kazakh cuisine or browse through souvenir shops for unique mementos of your visit. Some spots we haven't mentioned, so you'll be able to explore them during the tour.

Rosa was kind and certainly very well informed about Almaty history and culture. The tour was enlightening and decently paced. Although we did it on day 3, I would recommend doing this on day 1 to be better informed about the city and plan the rest of the stay.
A three-hour walking tour of the city's highlights with efficiency. I was able to hear interesting explanations from the guides not only in the main place, but here and there. The guide was amazed by his knowledge of everything from history to current events. Because I am Japanese, he introduced me to episodes related to Japan.

A great overview of Almaty, hitting the highlights in the short amount of time I had. Rosa gave me some great historical background. We were lucky and heard a special choir from Russia at the Asuncion cathedral. She even made it possible to ride the gondolas in the afternoon after out tour.

Lovely walking tour! Roza was very helpful and her information was interesting. We had already seen the Green Bazaar so she took us to a different final location, a Greek orthodox church with a discovered secret cave area used during Soviet times.
