The stunning Cedar Creek Falls is approximately 30 minutes bus ride from Airlie Beach. All guests will enjoy the spectacular waterfalls and abundant flora and fauna. This popular tourist spot will take you back to nature including white cedar trees, Alexandra Palms, wild orchids, colourful butterflies and many species of birds. The fun and informative guide will take you for a dip in the refreshing clear natural pools.
Only 30 minutes away from Cedar Creek Falls paradise is waiting for you. Set right on the waterfront just outside Airlie Beach, Northerlies Beach Bar & Grill is an award winning restaurant and bar serving a range of craft beers on tap, a wonderful wine menu and delicious lunch menu prepared by their amazing chef and their team.

Was such a great day out. Waterfall might be cold but please get in it’s amazing and your body will love you for it. Lunch was really nice and the pub was a complete surprise and it’s in the middle of nowhere. Overall the tour operator was amazing and we had a fabulous day.

We booked this trip, looking forward to a really informative day with an expert guide. Red Cat website advertises a Falls to Paradise trip, with morning tea, Eco Walk, swim in the falls followed by a beautiful lunch prepared by a local chef. We booked through trip adviser as got a better deal. Our day started with the bus trip to the falls with the guide talking to us and explaining the surroundings. We could not hear one word at all and did not realise she was wearing a mic until we reached the lunch stop. This is where we raised the issue. We were dropped at the falls, just left to get to get on with it, while the guide sat on a rock looking at her phone for the most part. There was a very brief explanation of our surroundings. Red Cat website advertised morning tea, we were offered a biscuit and that was it. I did hear her mention fruit when we got out of the van, but none of this was made available to anyone. Red Cat website also advertised an eco walk with an expert guide. That was also non existent. Lunch at the Northerlies was completely average, nothing special at all. Did not present as food expertly prepared by a local chef. Food choice was really poor, mainly deep fried and lacking in taste. I feel that this tour was completely mis sold and not as as advertised at all.

In terms of the commentary on the bus, our guides do use microphones so guests can clearly hear throughout the journey. I’m sorry this wasn’t working effectively for you on the day — that’s something we will follow up on internally. At Cedar Creek Falls, the experience is designed to be more relaxed and self-paced rather than a structured guided walk. That said, there should always be a clear introduction and overview provided, so I’m sorry if this felt lacking. Regarding morning tea, we do provide a light offering rather than a full spread, but I apologise if this wasn’t communicated clearly or didn’t meet your expectations. The same applies to the eco walk description — we will review how this is presented to ensure it better reflects the experience delivered. For lunch at Northerlies, while we partner with a well-regarded local venue, we understand that tastes can vary, and I’m sorry it didn’t hit the mark for you. We do appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Feedback like this is important in helping us refine both our product and how we communicate what guests can expect. Nat the guide was so lovely and knowledgeable about the local area. We enjoyed a fun excursion where she made us feel looked after. The swim in the Cedar Creek rock pool was amazing. Lunch was included and was delicious. Highly recommended this tour and Nat gets 10 stars for being the perfect host!

Good tour Rowena was a great host very informative and nice person. Went the extra mile for us. Beautiful spot to visit.
Jenny was great lots of fun, warm and friendly. Waterfall was gorgeous even if it was raining didn't change the atmosphere.
The trip was cancelled the morning of departure due to van breakbown I would have expected some sort of backup plan for such an event Disappointing

We had an amazing trip to Cedar creek falls with Rowena as our tour guide. She was so friendly, relaxed and a great addition to our group. We stopped off at Conway beach before heading to the Northelies for lunch. What an amazing place for lunch, stunning location, excellent food, everything was perfect. Would recommend this trip .
