Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is one of a tourist hot spots in Sri Lanka. This Buddhist temple is considered as the most venerable Buddhist Temple in the Buddhist world. The temple is located at the center of the hill capital and second largest city of Sri Lanka "Kandy". This is the house to relic of the tooth of the Buddha. A beautiful well preserved Buddhist temple with hundreds of paintings & carvings which are belong to Kandy era. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple.

This scenic city is surrounded by mountains and home to 125,400 people. This city is situated in 115km from Colombo and is elevated at 600m above sea level. Kandy is a major tourist destination as there are lot of hotels in the city and around the city. This is a nice place to stay an overnight during a round tour and there are lot to explore in Kandy. It was absolutely amazing tour. From the moment we landed in Sri Lanka till our departure back to the airport, we experienced wonderful and perfect hospitality. The tour guide who was allocated to us was Mr. Danushka. We visited Sigiriya, Kaudulla safari, Ella and Kandy. All the hotel accomodation was arranged through Traumland travels and we absolutely loved it. We enjoyed our holiday and it was beyond our expectation. Last year on October 2022 a brillant tour to see as much as we could in 5 days. all hotels were perfect, friendly staff, lovely food and fantastic views. We love the safari and were so privileged to be so close to the animal. Then the train ride going to ella was awesome.We're enjoying the hikes in ella to adam's Peak and waterfalls. Our whale watching day was fabulous treat too. there are so many experiences we loved we really cannot pick a favourite.The itinerary was perfectly balance to explore the best sri lanka; history, culture,nature hikes... all in all it was a great experience with TRAUMLAND TOURS.

I visited Sri Lanka for three weeks during my business trip. During my 9 days, I wanted to travel to major attractions of the country as I have seen the beauty of Sri Lanka on TV. I contacted Mindika from Traumland Tour via email and he responded my email within five minutes. It was more easier to plan the tour and book hotels for myself with Traumland Tours. Mindika was very helpful and flexible during the booking process. The prices were very reasonable for the whole tour package. Mindika was my tour guide for the entire trip. He was a specialist on archeological sites as well as Wildlife and educate me a lot about the country and its historical background. Traumland Tours has booked really nice hotels for my trip.
