We were on Easter Saturday at 17:00 for the guided tour. At the start we were informed that because of Easter a large part of the Alhambra is closed and we can only visit a small part. That was very disappointing. The tour lasted only 1.5 hours, instead of the planned 3 hours. I assume that the partial closure of the Alhambra takes place every year at Easter. There could have been some information at the ticket sales. There has also been no cost reduction ☹️

During Easter week, on certain days, the itinerary of the Alhambra may be reduced due to circumstances beyond our control. These restrictions are decided by the monument itself and, unfortunately, are not always confirmed in advance, which makes it difficult to inform clients beforehand. We would also like to clarify that the Alhambra does not offer any discounts or reductions on ticket prices, even when parts of the monument are temporarily closed. This specific tour has a usual duration of 2 hours, and on this occasion it was reduced by approximately 30 minutes due to these limitations. The guide was fine, assumed no prior knowledge of Spanish history or language. The itinerary was limited.

Luis, our tour guide, was very informative, thorough, and responsive to questions. His English was clear, and the location was spectacular. However, the tour company’s communication in English regarding a change of meeting point could have been improved.

Overall the whole visit was very well organized by Gema. We had no need to wait to enter and the whole visit was perfectly controlled. We were with our 4 grandchildren and at all times knew how to make participants of each story..very enjoyable and unfolded and knowing how to do their work with great professionalism.

We did both the regular Alhambra tour and the night tour. Both were great. If I had to choose one, I would do the day tour because it was more comprehensive. The night tour was a nice supplement because you could see the colors under the lights and it was quieter and much less crowded than during the day. We also enjoyed the auidoguide.

If you visit Granada it goes without saying that a visit the the Alhambra is a must. So when you do, make sure you go on a tour with ‘Alhambra trip Granada’ and if it is possible request Conchi as your guide. Conchi will bring the whole experience to life with a vast and thoroughly interesting knowledge of the Alhambra and a cheeky sense of humour, multi lingual and sunny personality. The whole place is phenomenal and exquisite in every way. The Alhambra is one of the most wonderful places on the planet and this tour will stay in your thoughts forever.

We were very lucky for this visit because tickets sell months in advance and we have to do it very early. The walk and visit is a real journey in the history of Andalusia and Muslim Spain. This citadel inhabits wonders with gardens and palaces. You have to be very punctual for the visit of the Nazrid palace which is a pure pleasure to visit you are full of eyes and I confirm what I had read before my visit, we have the impression that the walls are lace.
