Itinerary
Paseo de la Sabica 32, My Top Tour. There you will collect your audio guide and tickets.
You will visit the entire monumental site of the Alhambra except the Nasrid Palaces.
Charles V Palace is a Renaissance gem within the Alhambra, famous for its impressive circular courtyard. A perfect stop to contrast Nasrid architecture with the great imperial style of the 16th century.
The Generalife is the coolest and most beautiful corner of the Alhambra: gardens, fountains and terraces designed to disconnect with incredible views. The perfect plan to close the visit with calm and spectacular photos.
The Alcazaba is the oldest and most military part of the Alhambra, a real fortress with towers and walls from where you get the best views of Granada. Climbing the Candle Tower is one of the most impressive moments of the visit.

Really disappointing and, in my view, deliberately misleading from beginning to end. 1. The website gives tourists the impression that it is officially connected with the Alhambra, seemingly taking advantage of that perception to sell overpriced tickets. 2. It is not made clear exactly what is included in the ticket. As a result, we only discovered too late that our tickets did not include access to the Palacios Nazaríes – the main attraction we had intended to visit. 3. The emails instructed us to collect our tickets from the Top Tours office, implying this was essential. In reality, the emailed tickets were sufficient to enter the Alhambra directly. Following those instructions meant we wasted around 45 minutes queuing unnecessarily, while the staff in the office appeared to be chatting amongst themselves rather than dealing with the queue. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. Our experience was misleading, poor value for money, and needlessly frustrating.
We knew we were buying from outside ticket sellers and paying a premium for it because there were no tickets left buying directly from Alhambra. We booked these several weeks in advance of our trip. What we didn’t expect was terrible communication and a painfully slow check-in that could ruin your entire tour because the main palace has a strictly timed entrance. We were never given an address of where to go for their main office) we were not told to arrive early (though luckily we did,) and we waited in line for over 30 min only to find out we needed to then massively rush to get to the entrance gate at the palace on time. The one person serving people at the desk told us that we could return to the office and lodge a complaint— that was the extent of their help. See past reviews on TripAdviser and you’ll see this is a common problem with this company. They can (and have) ruin your trip to Alhambra.
This review is about the tour operator My top tour. The problem is the queuing in the operators office outside the Alahambra Palace. They tell you to arrive 30 mins before which we arrived 1 hour before. Thank goodness we did as we stood in the queue to collect the tickets which had been booked 6 months in advance for 47 mins in 36 degree heat. Afterwards you need to return your audio set and collect your deposit refund again waiting over 35 mins to refund these. I spoke to the staff and she-said they have no staff. Fantastic trip to the Alahambra but that the tour operator. I will not use again.
For the reservation, it was a bit complicated; we never knew if it was done or not, and confirmations arrived 48 hours late... but we were given a guided tour by Carina instead of the planned audio guide. And in terms of culture, she has it, that's for sure! She even has the answers to our questions. A lot of subtlety, kindness, knowledge... excellent.
It was very relaxing... we strolled through the facility and discovered a lot of beautiful and also many new things for us. We were here once before in 2014 with a travel group. This was very stressful. We can only recommend doing this again with My Top Tour.
The site was amazing. The audio tour was terrible. There was no overall direction, no cues as to WHICH segment pertained to WHAT site, etc., ending up with alot of wandering and listening to quick summaries of unrelated topics
Extremely disappointing experience. We paid almost €80 for two tickets believing we were purchasing access to the main Alhambra attractions. Only later did we discover that the tickets did not include access to the Nasrid Palaces, which are the highlight of the visit for most tourists. The booking process was misleading and did not make this limitation sufficiently clear. What is even more frustrating is that a large portion of the price was apparently charged as agency, management, and processing fees rather than for the actual tickets. For the amount paid, the value received was nowhere near what we expected. Had the information been presented more transparently, we would have chosen a different option or booked through official channels. I would strongly advise future visitors to avoid this at all costs! It is a scam!
Organized scam: cost 4 times the entry price, which is €99 per person instead of €21, the official price. Moreover, you have to pick up your ticket on-site at the last moment. The only email received since purchasing the tickets, providing information to retrieve this entry ticket, was sent on the same day as the visit, just a few hours before the chosen time!!! (we had already lost 2 hours trying to find the location and the necessary information!!!!)
First, I must say that the booking system is very complicated. The same goes for the parking ticket. When we arrived at the Alhambra, we were already in the area where we learned that we had to pick up the audio guide outside the premises. So we had to go back to the kiosk of My Tour... However, we were told there that our audio guide is our phone... very funny... Unfortunately, there was no indication when booking that this was the case... Internet and Wi-Fi are, of course, not available, so the audio guide on the phone is not functional... If we had been informed about this, we could have worked with a power bank and prepared for the mobile network in advance... But there is the possibility to pay again...👍🏻👍🏻🤬🤬.... Then there is, of course, an audio guide as you know it from other events... and museums... not very well thought out, and it is likely that you will have to pay again....
Everything was perfect; we arrived at the meeting point, everything went well, and we had a magnificent day at the Alhambra.
Bonjour Lyne, merci beaucoup pour votre avis. Nous sommes ravis de savoir que tout s’est bien passé dès votre arrivée au point de rendez-vous et que vous avez passé une magnifique journée à l’Alhambra.
