Pompey's Pillar in Alexandria, Egypt, is a towering monolithic column made of red granite, standing approximately 27 meters tall. This Corinthian-style pillar, intricately carved with floral motifs on its capital, was originally erected in honor of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, dating back to the 4th century AD. Despite its name, there is no direct connection to the Roman general Pompey. The pillar is a solitary structure, having survived the destruction of the ancient Serapeum temple complex where it was originally located. Today, it stands in the open air in the Kom El Shoqafa area, attracting visitors interested in its historical and architectural significance.

trip as it should be in Alexandria

This was our trip. In the beginning, we were afraid that the company did not have enough fame, but they provided us with what we needed and more, and they made our trip to Alexandria as it should be. When I return again, I will not hesitate to contact them.
