Alexandria Private Day Tour from Cairo

When I made a last minute decision to got Alexandria, Mr. Walid made all the arrangements necessary to allow me to see Alexandria and travel the beach and even covered the food for the fish market. He had a wonderful driver and provided me with such a great experience!

Mr. Brown Sugar is the best tour guide you can get in Egypt. Upon our arrival, he met us in our hotel to plan the tours for the days ahead, then he introduced us to koshari (Egyptian dish) in a nice little eatery which we would not have otherwise found on our own. He showed us the main tourist spots as well as spots that only locals would know. He's also very flexible in accomodating us when our plans needed to be changed. He just goes above and beyond all the time and does it with great energy. My favorite was definitely the ATV during sunset overlooking the pyramids. It's a must do! My experience in Egypt was really unforgettable and a big part of that is because of Mr. Brown Sugar. I will recommend him to anyone I know who will go to Egypt.

Mr. Brown Sugar was our tour guide and trip guru during our recent family visit to Egypt. We visited the pyramids and Sphinx at Giza, the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, the Egyptian Museum, Khan al Khalili, the Citadel of Salaadin and more. We also went on a full-day a private guided tour of Alexandria. Mr. Brown Sugar took care of everything and made sure we didn't miss anything. His tours are packed with information and great context for the importance of the sites, and he the characters involved, that before the trip were names in textbooks and movies. He started our visit by giving our kids nicknames (King Tutankhamun and Queen Cleopatra!) and by the end of the trip they were saying he was what they would miss most about Egypt when they left. Mr. Brown Sugar toured Giza with us the first day and Alexandria the last day. In the middle we toured with his brother (Bisu or Mr. Black Panther). He also helped us arrange a guide for touring Luxor and the Valley of the Kings (a mini trip within our larger visit). In Luxor we toured with Taib (Dr. Indiana Jones) who was also very knowledgeable and made sure we saw the best parts of every site we visited. We had a great driver, Mr. Nagey, who made sure that every van ride was safe and comfortable, which is no simple thing in Cairo traffic. There are 20-25 million people in greater Cairo, and sometimes it seems they are all on the road with you! There really is no comparison for large cities in the US or Europe to driving in Cairo. Don't even think about renting a car or driving yourself. We highly recommend Mr. Brown Sugar as a tour guide in Egypt. His itineraries are sensible and tailored to the energy and makeup of your group. He recognized that we needed to pace ourselves to allow the kids to keep up, and understood that dragging them to sites they were too tired to appreciate would ruin the experience for everyone. We saw other families doing this and it was clear that while they were seeing lots of sites, by the late afternoon everyone, kids and the parents alike were too tired to really enjoy anything. Brown Suga had our group from start to finish. We did 5 full days of yours with him (Giza Pyramids, Alexandria, Nile Cruise, Memphis plus more). He picked us up from the airport, picked us up every day from our hotel and dropped us off at the airport. He even stayed with us 3 extra hours when we had issues with our hotel. Wonderful day trip to Alexandria. The driver picked us up in an air conditioned van with a television in it. The tour guide that we met in Alexandria was very knowledgeable and he took his time with us during the tours. He suggested a wonderful place for lunch on the Mediterranean Sea and pre ordered our meals and reserved a table for us. Great trip I would recommend to anyone.
